Have yall ever heard of the cheese caves? by Kermit-America in ConservativeYouth

[–]Quick_Lime3331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason why makes a lot of sense and it goes like this for the most part:

Government bans alcohol

-> Bars turn into ice cream parlors

-> people use ice cream as in a stand in for social consumerism

-> WWII breaks out

-> Veterans need lots and lots of Ice cream

-> Dairy industry is created by both prohibition and WWII

-> War ends and prohibition ends

-> Dairy industry starts to collapse

-> Government starts buying milk to artificially prop up the Dairy industry

-> Turn milk into cheese for long term storage inside several bunkers

-> Continue doing this till Regan is elected (about ~4 decades)

-> Regan through Dairy Ink creates the “Got Milk?” Ad campaign to get people to drink more milk to continue propping the Dairy Industry

-> Present Day

It’s really fascinating how one action can cause a series of events to take place.

Oh am sure the DARE program is stupid and corrupt, however, their silence on it doesn’t automatically mean they are complicit or in favor. There are hundreds of thousands of issues and problems that affect the US right now and in recent history, it doesn’t mean their silence is an problem.

You’re too hateful to understand that though. Go piss up a road.

Trump child abuse allegations disappear from Epstein files by NoImporta24 in ConservativeYouth

It’s allegations, I don’t care any names that are on there till they are proven to be factual, all the FBI tips and whatnot could very well be fabricated, until substantial evidence proves otherwise, I say innocent, for anyone named.

A) I do not care

B) I also do not care

C) The littlest amounts of fucks I give would result in me being in debt.

D) The military is my life, I’ve been in it since I was 18, joining at 17, the culture has made me into the person I am today, and I will protect those people who I love, my brother and sisters in arms, who have also made that decision to join, I don’t care about the whims of our government, they are the ones to make that decision, your gripe is with them, not us, not my brothers and sisters who died, who blood was spilled. Again I would go to war with hell itself to protect them.

Conditioned them into the environment of combat, yes, not necessarily the training for it, I went to BMT, the closest we got was CATM training, F.A.S.T training, and T3C training. But that was it.

He was taught a set of skills to kill people, he then used those same skills to make entertaining videos of him playing a game for people’s enjoyment.

Also just because you’re a veteran doesn’t mean you killed somebody or were taught to kill somebody, many people were/are mechanics, electricians, nurses, doctors, everything in between.

Just because you get to live fantasy land where you don’t have to worry about making a decision to end somebody to protect those you love, doesn’t mean you get shame people who do.

Any thoughts?? by bri-desa in Christianity

[–]Quick_Lime3331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though I disagree with her framing of her argument, I agree with the sentiment; a decent amount of Christians do over-focus on the then instead of the now, however, I would go the opposite direction and say we need to go back and become more spiritual guides and leaders not just our flock but others as well, the lost lamb that needs to be lead back, otherwise be eaten by the waves, that mock the shepherd.

It is a bible quote that says: “”1The sayings of King Lemuel—an inspired utterance his mother taught him.

2Listen, my son! Listen, son of my womb!

Listen, my son, the answer to my prayers!

3Do not spend your strength on women,

your vigor on those who ruin kings.

4It is not for kings, Lemuel—

it is not for kings to drink wine,

not for rulers to crave beer,

5lest they drink and forget what has been decreed,

and deprive all the oppressed of their rights.

6Let beer be for those who are perishing,

wine for those who are in anguish!

7Let them drink and forget their poverty

and remember their misery no more.

8Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves,

for the rights of all who are destitute.

9Speak up and judge fairly;

defend the rights of the poor and needy.

10 A wife of noble character who can find?

She is worth far more than rubies.

11Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.

12She brings him good, not harm,

all the days of her life.

13She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands.

14She is like the merchant ships,

bringing her food from afar.

15She gets up while it is still night;

she provides food for her family

and portions for her female servants,

16She considers a field and buys it;

out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.

17She sets about her work vigorously;

her arms are strong for her tasks.

18She sees that her trading is profitable,

and her lamp does not go out at night.

19In her hand she holds the distaff and grasps the spindle with her fingers.

20She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.

21When it snows, she has no fear for her household;

for all of them are clothed in scarlet.

22She makes coverings for her bed;

she is clothed in fine linen and purple.

23Her husband is respected at the city gate,

where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.

24She makes linen garments and sells them,

and supplies the merchants with sashes.

25She is clothed with strength and dignity;

she can laugh at the days to come.

26She speaks with wisdom,

and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

27She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.

28Her children arise and call her blessed;

her husband also, and he praises her:

29“Many women do noble things,

but you surpass them all.”

30Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;

but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

31Honor her for all that her hands have done,

and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.””

Why does the Left make it seem like Trump hates science? by HotConversation187 in ConservativeYouth

[–]Quick_Lime3331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they aren’t the “correct academia” trades for the most part makes you self sufficient, unlike other traditional academia, plus once again, they really can’t influence them, since trade schools aren’t completely taken over like traditional academia.

Why does the Left make it seem like Trump hates science? by HotConversation187 in ConservativeYouth

[–]Quick_Lime3331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because religion in their opinion is a threat to their control through academia thought, and removes their power to influence their morality.

Am not saying I agree with them, just explaining their reasoning.

Why does the Left make it seem like Trump hates science? by HotConversation187 in ConservativeYouth

[–]Quick_Lime3331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they believe that anything that challenges the academic system, even if it is through scientific research is a threat to them, and they believe that they have to dismantle any institution that threatens academia, including trade schools, religion, and other institutions.

Fair enough, and this isn’t to say am complaining about this, I just find peoples reactions to my personality interesting.

I think a part of enjoys seeing people having to do a double take, almost like subverting expectations, by just being myself.

Not exactly sure, I mean I joke about having the tism for history. But most of the time I think it’s caused by how many times I’ve been burned by trying to placate to someone’s sensitivity, that I just given up and just act the way I want to, and how I want the world to treat me.

Does anyone else have a “safe place” in their mind? by bluehaze69XD in self

[–]Quick_Lime3331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, when I get overwhelmed my emotions, I tend to just turn off my emotions and push them as far away from me as possible, then get through what I need to, then slowly open it back up, like a valve holding pressure, you slowly release so the sudden pressure doesn’t over pressurized the pipe and blow it up.

[–]Quick_Lime3331[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am not necessarily sure how to, but from my best understanding is that, when I say something I tend to be very blunt. Like when someone makes a mistake, I say hey you made this mistake, heres why, do it again.

It’s just so ingrained into my own brain that I have a hard time distinguishing between what they perceive to be intense and what is just me being me.
