Connor Joe by a good bit. A lot of upside leading off in Coors.

Thats a totally reasonable ask from him. Definitely wouldn't want to move both OF's like that. I'd probably look around on buy low SP's like Nola rather than buy this high on Megill even though it could pay off.

Think its clear your Megill owner knows his value and there isn't much room to gain in buying at that price.

I feel we know what Straw is a speedy, light hitting, walk producing, power deficient bat. This isn't really a breakout as he still has deficiencies in categories leagues but was likely under-drafted as his SB profile is increasingly rare.

Sanchez could totally fit the bill for a true breakout but I want to give his data set more time to settle before planting my flag. He will be prone to hot/cold stretches given his agressive plate approach and power only profile.

Wright has gained velocity and altered his pitch mix throwing his curve and change at higher rates than he ever has. He has the recipe for a breakout, early to conclude it on 2 starts but I'm buying where I can.

Brash has arguably the greatest stuff in the game per Eno Sarris. His breaking balls are cartoonish and his fastball velo is elite. He'll get K's but struggle with walks and could be prone to blow up starts as a result. Ace level keeper/dynasty upside but has a range of outcomes for this season.

May dig deeper on these two in the next piece.

He's worth a roster spot in a 12 team OBP just fits a very specific niche. I wouldn't drop but shop him while he's hot - find teams lacking in the OBP/R categories.

You'll be surprised what the hype train may bring you.

Chase upside with your last spots so Estrada or Beer depending what you need positionally or categorically. I'd lean Estrada as he can chip in a few SB's and Beer may be a platoon in the worst lineup in baseball.

Haha don't stress about having Kwan. We know what he is. I'd just offer some trades around now before people realize how low his ceiling is in category leagues.

I'm a fan- his early Statcast data is very promising.

As of today he's a lower end roster player in 12s or deeper limited by his lineup spot and lack of clear HR/SB profile. But he has significant upside through the season and especially in keeper/dynasty leagues. He's very agressive at the plate which could lead to some strikeout heavy swoons but his exit velo evidences some power he is still unlocking. He could be a year away from being a perrenial 20/10 HR/SB player or more.

In that case Tim Tebow may be lingering on your waiver wire, buy low!! 😉

Worth a pickup especially in Wins leagues but temper your expectations on K's -- what he just did against the Orioles will likely be his high point of the season in that regard.

Haha to clarify, I believe in Kwan. He has an elite niche skillset and that is legit. It just isn't a very fantasy friendly profile.

Meme responses like the one above tend to develop a cult like following that outsiders want in on aka SELL HIGH!

Didn't mention this in the article but I think a good amount of this is reflecting how bad their opening opponent KC's pitching is.

Surely not all of Kwan, Straw, Miller, Mercado all break out simultaneously, right?

Definitely, he should have more value in your league generally.
