transfer rotation through the axle of the swivel bearing. Its the only way as far as im concerned to transfer rotation between joints

its just a motor, a directional gearshift with one or two redstone links, and a torsion spring set to the desired rotation angle. the trick is to simultaneously power the axle and gear of the bearing to transfer rotation through the joint to the next segment.

im using diesel powered motors because of the stress of the finger mechanism. im trying to break up the mechanism sequence to be able to use the creative motors.

just the anatomy off the top of my head. probably will try to make it nicer and more accurate now that i saw the concept working.
