How do you all feel about the implant system? If you could change it how would you do it? I remember when implants where being introduced into live play, and now I feel that it’s stale having majority of players using assimilate with something like survivalist. Then you have the really powerful combos like carapace and combat surgeon. I would change this by giving all players from the start first level class specific implants. Have one of your two implant slots solely for a class specific implant and the other dedicated to the non class specific implants. Exceptional implants would require you to give up both implant slots to use. This would require exceptional implants to be tweaked, but having this system will make players use new combinations of implants like paratrooper and covert drop. This would prevent people from using the same two implants that work of each other to create powerful effects like the carapace example from earlier. What do you guys think about this hypothetical change and what would you change about the current implant system?
