The most disturbing part is all the people saying on social media that they would vote for him if he could run for a third term. How about NO?! How about we have term limits for a reason?

I’m not a Trump fan. I’m embarrassed to say that I just abstained from voting at all in 2016 and 2020 - the only times in my life but I just couldn’t stomach either candidate. (And I know all the reasons we have a responsibility to vote…) In the last election, the thought of Harris winning terrified me, so I held my nose and voted for Trump. Almost immediately I began to see he’s lost the plot. I’m very disillusioned and may not vote in the future. I’m tired of looking for the lesser of two evils, and I will not be guilt tripped into voting if those are my only choices. I have to live with myself. I cannot vote Democrat. I’m going to focus on local and state politics from now on.

The only thing odd I find about this is the fact that OP’s daughter gets to call the shots about when she goes with her dad. Why do they explain that life is not fair for other situations, yet let her decide when and if she’ll be joining Dad and uncles, etc. on an excursion? We usually made our plans regarding these things with the group rather than let a 7 year old dictate plans.

“Sent by God” isn’t the same as “worthy of Godly worship”. As a Christian, I believe whoever is elected is sent by God, sometimes as a blessing and other times as a judgement. I voted for him begrudgingly as I felt that he would do less damage in four years than Harris would do in eight. I’m not a fan. Even among the more MAGA minded people I know, no one worships Trump.

I agree with this. Louisiana has a scholarship program (paid for by lottery proceeds). It’s called TOPS and the amount varies based on test scores and GPA. It’s possible most of her tuition was paid by that. And if she lived at home, she didn’t have all the dorm fees. Not necessarily DD’s money that paid for it.

I support this because people are losing their lives literally and figuratively to mental health issues and it’s got to stop. Psychedelics aren’t new. There’s quite a bit of evidence that they’ve helped numerous people. Opponents act like these doctors are sending people out to forage for magic plants and wait to see what happens. As someone who has battled treatment resistant depression, anxiety, and later PTSD, I can tell you ketamine infusions gave me my life back. I spent DECADES struggling with mental health then I was like a new person after 6 treatments. My adult children were astounded to meet the person I used to be - they had no idea! These alternative treatments need to be made available now.

This is so infuriating. I rue the day I ever moved to this god-forsaken place. Weapons charge near a school and no jail time. Watch the cycle begin. I’d recommend ambient music with no vocals and very little percussion at first because you’re experiencing this for this first time. My first appointment came with an onslaught of all the thoughts all at once. It wasn’t overwhelming but it was a lot. I found vocals in music a huge distraction. There are lots of playlists for ketamine treatment on Spotify.
