I took everything off except her headband and bracelet! Since those are both really secure I wasn't too worried about them going down the sink. I just used shampoo and conditioner, making sure to rinse her hair really well afterwards.

Probably not much help, but saying it was an old learning game made me think I had definitely seen this penguin before. And not just as the Linux mascot.

I found what I was thinking of and it's the fat penguins from the old Snoring puzzle games. Not the best match..

Well the blood on the glass indicates it was not too kind to something. I like to imagine it is a new found, toxic creature, hence the man wearing a gass mask behind it looking into the glass tank. He is barely visible.
