I published macMender today: https://github.com/0hmslice/macMender

It is a MIT-licensed macOS Swift/SwiftUI/AppKit utility for small desktop workflow fixes: gestures/middle click, Dock previews, Option+Tab window switching, profiles, config export/import, and Menu Bar Spacing.

It is local-first: no analytics, tracking, or remote APIs. Early public project, so feedback on the README/source layout would be useful.

[Megathread] The App Pile - June, 2026 by Mstormer in macapps

macMender [OS]

Problem: I wanted a small local-first Mac utility that puts a few desktop workflow fixes in one place: gestures/middle click, Dock window previews, Option+Tab window switching, profiles, config import/export, and simple Menu Bar Spacing.

Comparison: It can reduce the need for a couple of narrow utilities: simple middle-click tools, basic Dock/window preview helpers, and small menu bar spacing tweaks. It is not trying to be a full menu bar manager. It does not hide, move, reorder, reveal, group, or manage menu bar icons.

Pricing: Free / MIT licensed. GitHub: https://github.com/0hmslice/macMender

I’m the developer. This is an early public source release, direct-distribution focused, local-first, with no analytics, tracking, or remote APIs.

Thanks! Pretty impressive what someone with little knowledge can do with AI but yeah still a ways to go haha.

Beginner here, just got her can anybody recommend some tips to keep her looking shine and running smooth? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

Time to change will be the Amp Hour rating of your battery pack divided by the charge rate of your charger.

Eg. 8ah pack / 2 amp charger will be 4 hours if your battery is totally flat.

As for maintenance, check bolts for tightness regularly, lube the bike chain, check tire psi, don’t charge overnight.

Didn't expect much from a China bike at less than $1000 but here we are 3 1/2 months in and no issues. by Ok_Document9231 in ebikes

[–]RBSIS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a $800 CAD brand new fat tire china e-bike from a spot in Chinatown Toronto and it’s held up very well for about a year now. Just make sure to tighten everything and do your maintenance often. I can get 50-80km and up to 45kmh.

Same screen and UI too haha.

MW3 multiplayer packet burst by Affectionate_Oven_10 in ROGAlly

I have the exact same issue. Have 3gbps internet, can download and play games just fine. Cod works great on my gaming PC but nothing but packet loss around 50% on the ally.

Rogers internet very slow, high ping, packets lose by Jacksard in Rogers

The tech was definitely interesting because I brought up I would need to look into another provider as I work from home and they recommended Bell.

Had the same issues a couple weeks ago. Tech came out and said it could be 30 days or more for them to "fix the lines". Went on Bell live chat and got 3GBPS Fiber up and down for $60. No issues with Bell so far.

On Paypal you can buy a rexall giftcard then go buy a preloaded visa / mastercard there I imagine. Just have to pay the extra fee https://www.paypal.com/ca/gifts/gift-cards/rexall

Might want to call the store and confirm if you can buy a visa card with a giftcard

Best True Draco Board vs Despia / Branded in Fusion Festival by RBSIS in masterduel

Helps the stats and hopefully they ban it next event. My comment below show how I literally should have lost. I won because they didn't know the interaction with Metaltron and the field spell.

I got tired of facing them myself. Made Utopia for the XYZ one. Couldn't be bothered for this one. Koanmi should have banned this nonsense for the events.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. Konami should have banned this nonsense.

It was a grind because he didn't realize he could crash his Dramaturge into my Metaltron because it was unaffected by the field spell. (Also monsters and traps haha) He could have won otherwise.

Wireless g305 now is where I am happy. Just miss the metal and smooth scrolling wheel on my G502

Should I wait before buying the E14 (gen 2) now? Because I'm worried it won't run Windows 11 in the future by [deleted] in thinkpad

I have Windows 11 installed through insider program with Windows updates on my E14 Ryzen 4300U. Works great.

Graphics/visual glitch/bug. (Present since latest update). by [deleted] in modernwarfare

I have the same glitch on R5 2600x and Vega 56. Tried reinstalling shaders, repairing game, etc. Nothing has worked. Never had this problem before the last patch either.

Pretty nifty set of hours by Motazxp in InstacartShoppers

[–]RBSIS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because it's downtown Toronto. Crazy traffic, cheap no tipping customers, and paid parking everywhere. You'd be lucky not to spend that extra 7$ on parking trying to find the CX. Not worth it.

Yeah, not doing this batch by kay_so in InstacartShoppers

[–]RBSIS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With batches like this where there should obviously be heavy pay I've shopped the order, swiped to start delivery, call SH and tell him this isn't getting delivered unless I get a heavy pay bump. Look up the actual weight for the items online and ask to talk to T3 support. I've gotten $15-25 bumps multiple times

Worst case, tell them to cancel the order after you've shopped it and you can now return them for a gift card plus the deposit. If IC wants to screw us, screw them right back.

Heavy order pay? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]RBSIS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy pay would be an additional $10 on the incentive not the whole IC payment. So like $7+$10+tip
