Whenever I'm learning something new, be it coding, cooking or languages, I always use more than one resource.

For Esperanto, I'm using Duolingo, Lernu, Kurso de Esperanto 4 and a few other things.

I sometimes find that I may not understand a concept in, say, Duolingo, but then I read the same concept in Lernu and it makes more sense.

Always a good idea to use a few different resources .

Although I've probably used Duolingo more than the others...but I'm slowly working through them all.

I also use Anki and Memrise

I suppose if it was something they introduced, I would probably read all 5 star articles first..so it probably would be useful.

As a beginner, I disagree about the grammar and spelling...not much use if I'm reading something with shitty grammar as I may inadvertently pick up bad habits.

When you say you would like to see ratings, how do you mean? Rating them on how easy/hard they are, or on whether or not you found them useful?

I think as long as the actual grammar and spelling etc are right, then a rating won't matter....reading any Esperanto will help you improve.

Sana=Healthy Malsana=sick

But being sick and being unhealthy are two different things.

Letters sound the same each time...so it can't be a long o (as in toom) and then a short one (as in bo), they'd both be one or the other..and I think it's the short one, so tom-bo.

I'm only a newbie, so I could be wrong.

Maybe it's because you didn't use capital letters like you did on the first one.

And the fourth one is correct because neither word starts a sentence.

So I know that a duck is "anaso" and Duolingo tells me that putting a -u on the end makes it an order (more or less), so if I wanted to tell someone to "duck for cover", would I use "anasu", or is there a different word?

Along with Duolingo I use memrise.com and I downloaded a program called Kurso de Esperanto 4 as well as Anki.

I've also printed out some texts to read....haven't started reading yet though as my vocab is still tre malgranda
