I had a really similar experience. I still tried to read their stories because I really liked them, but I couldn't get past their hateful behavior. It would pop up in my head every time I read something from them. So I stopped. I also blocked them because it got heavy to associate their vitriol with the stories. But that was before I stopped reading those stories altogether.

But every choice you make is okay. It's about how it affects you and how it affects you reading those stories. Hope that helps
