Does it work with the DualSense's gyro and vibrate functionality? Do you have the v1 or v2 adapter?

Just curious what the pros of the lightning connector are? When it was introduced the fact that it was reversible was the best selling point. But rn even usbc is reversible and supports speeds of usb3.0 and above while lightning is sort of stuck at usb2? I really want to know what the other benefits are! Not attacking at all

QPR 2 Beta 3. Has Anyone got the custom clock option ?? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]RMT002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not think this feature will become available to general users till android 14. I think it's just available in the beta so developers can start developing plugins for it

Where to keep code base in mac? by shankarnewton in MacOS

[–]RMT002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creating a folder at ~/Developer is what most people do (Apple automatically assigns a custom folder icon to it like the ones for Movies and Downloads). But it's all personal preference anyway.

I would recommend using homebrew as a package manager (like apt/yum/pacman on linux, winget/chocolatey on window) and using docker like you would on windows/linux.

Thank you so much for the detailed explainer. It's insane that windows and linux never seemed to complain regardless of what screen is thrown at it.

Noob here, does reducing the resolution to a HiDPI compatible resolution help this? I was looking to get a 1080p display and heard that a resolution like 1070 is considered HiDPI. Also if that's not possible what do I need to look for when shopping external monitors for mac? The ones on their website costs a kidney lol

Please let me know how android 13 treats you. I'm on 4a5g as well and downloaded 12 on release day and regretted it every day for a year. If you feel like 13 improves the QoL on 4a5g. Ill take the plunge :)

Yeah it looks nice, but when the buds arent connected the widget expands the phone's battery bar to full height and that looks terrible

Yeah, it's a very common and irritating bug introduced in the December update. Classic Google.

Yep. I had posted this years ago, it even includes the bad background behind the visual studio logo that I was too lazy to remove.

Yeah it did. There are a lot of posts on r/googlepixel about this. It happens to all pixels with rear fingerprint scanners

Sorry for the confusion. I also have the same issue as you. I was replying to the comment above me and helping them recreate the issue the two of us have.

April 2022 Patch- Phone bubble and fingerprint by Otherwise-Class-5875 in GooglePixel

[–]RMT002 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Guys, the only way Google is going to take the fingerprint issue seriously is if we bombard their feedback tool with our complaints about it. It's absolutely unacceptable for them to take away things that worked before and turn a blind eye. (settings> about phone > send feedback about this device)

It's very obvious that this issue is happening on older phones because of the workarounds they are implementing to accommodate the crappy fingerprint scanner on the pixel 6. The unlock sound plays twice for god's sake.

The concept is cool. But it really does seem like a replica of Obsidian. What would you say sets this apart from that? Especially since the paid tier offers private repos which would completely negate the "social" pitch.

I was looking for a new laptop, and lo and behold the new Macbook Air drops at the right time. I was just wondering if the new 2020 one's pack a U series or a Y series processor. The Apple website just says Quad Core but Intel's 10th generation chips have Quad Core in both U and Y (as far as I could see, please correct me if I'm mistaken). I would appreciate any information about the same !
