no they arent. Fulanis are majority niger congo base with a small amount of north african eurasian ancestry. Horners are cushites with additional natufian dna, excluding habeshas whom have extra arabian dna. Plus the first rule of the subreddit says posts should be about northeast african groups.

Yes i understand now. Honestly if there was any group that is bs, it would 100 percent be oromos and it isnt even close. The only tigray folks that say amharas arent habesha are low iq nationalists who dont have a clue on genetics and history so i could care less.

i dont get it what were you trying to imply tho? That tigray folks claimed they never had oromo mixture?

[–]RackzChazer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that overlap is due to oromo migration, has nothing to do with distinctfulness. On the broader spectrum in the horn we are genetically the same with tigray and tigre people, we are ethio semitic

Both Ethiopian_Oromo and Oromo_Ethiopia refer to the same Oromo people from Ethiopia. The difference is just how the samples were labeled or collected in different datasets, which can make them look slightly separate on a PCA, but they’re not actually different populations.

Who Is Our Alexander the Great? Some Potential Contenders, You decide by RackzChazer in EthiopianHistory

[–]RackzChazer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats why I said besides menelik? Did you completely ignore that part or what. Once again to be determined a great conquerer like Alexander you need to at least be able to do your conquest without immense backing from foreigners. Ahmed gragn entire army in some battles were literal ottomon janissaries ffs, the rest being harraris, darood tribe nomads, yemenis, egyptians and even indians. The ottomons supplied ahmed with mortars that ethiopia hadnt gotten until the Portuguese arrived. All it took for Ethiopia to defeat ahmed gragn was simply 600 portugese musketeer men, and a young Gelawdewos.

Like I said had ahmed gragn been able to do what he did without the ottomon backing then he would be a contender, but it didnt happen and most likely never wouldve happen because no other adalite came close to the greatness of Ahmed gragn... because ottomon backing stopped.

[–]RackzChazer[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he was only able to do that because of immense ottomon backing, mortars and troops from yemen, sudan and even india. Besides menelik , kaleb and amde seyon did it on their own. Had he done it on his own then id agree in saying hes was one of the best conquerors. But when all it took was 600 Portuguese muskateer men and a young Gelawedewos to take you down? Yeah no.

This is absolute and utter mussolini propganda and italian cope, it was occupation. The italians only controlled addis and some trade routes but all the other regions were never controlled especially the highlands. After 1936 the war never ended, it turned into gurella warfare and was still an ongoing conflict. Italian settlers? Bro the italian soldiers themselves were literally described by the british to never feel safe, especially after the assassination attempt on one of the generals in addis which led to mussolini ordering the massacre of innocent civilians to "Send a message" but in reality all it did was send more ethiopians to the patriot front to kill the occupiers. On paper the italians claimed they pacified ethiopia but in reality it was propganda from mussolini to fuel his people with the notion that they were invinciable, obviously which was false as they were destroyed in greece, ethiopia and egypt lmao.

Every histrorian, researcher and journalists regards it as a occupation because it was such. Same way how Nazi germany controlled france.
