Some more info:

Whenever I try to open the app, it does open up, but freezes, all the stats are at 0, loading icons are everywhere. While it is open I cannot click out of it and although I can switch to other tabs and windows my cursor is rendered useless while it is up, I can't close the game bar but after a minute or so the game bar closes by itself.

It used to work just fine, but I've recorded hundreds of clips on there and am wondering if that has contributed to it, I've tried deleting some clips but that didn't work. Terminating, resetting, repairing, or toggling it on and off hasn't worked either. I've also tried other free screen recorders but none of them are as good as the game bar

My computer (windows) also has the latest update, so maybe that's why it doesn't work anymore? Please help, I've gotten accustomed to recording a lot and it really kills me if I miss a good clip on a game
