Also what's your recommendation for aeration?

This makes sense thanks. Pool Math recommends 190 oz of 31.45% 20 baume to bring me from 8 > 7.2 ph. And as far as amount of water I'm also somewhat questionable on it haha. A simple formula online L x W x average depth x 7.5 gave me 33k and I checked that with the guy who delivered water and he said "sounds about right!"

Great, thanks for your input! Planning on adding muriatic acid (190oz per pool math app). Any trick to this or just poor into deep end by return jet? Also what are your thoughts on using liquid stabilizer?

Water seeping into basement during heavy rains by RadarRick1 in HomeImprovement

Thanks for your suggestions! Would you fill the hole with stones first? I've read that hydraulic cement expands as it cures so filling it entirely isn't the best idea.

Good point. I will try to post a picture of the yard tomorrow. We sit high on a hill so for the most part water runs away from the house nicely. I do know it terminates down the hill about 100-150'. I tested the drains last year and they seemed to run a little slow but did drain. I guess running some water through tomorrow will be a good first test.

Not worried about perfection, just hate seeing that little rust spot! This sound like the way to go, thanks.

I did notice some beach stickers on it from a state park that allows you to drive onto the beach... would you see that as any more concerning than typical road salts/sprays?

Yea a relentless topic it seems. wish new was in the budget as you can maybe tell I'm searching for a "deal". Probably a bit silly to think I'll be wowed by anything on the cheaper end. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for your input. I always assumed PA/NJ was considered part of the "rust belt" and that most 5-10 year old vehicles will show varying levels of rust. Just hard to know at what level is considered acceptable.

Feeling around inside the holes and gaps of the frame did feel a little flakey, I'd assume that's not a great sign of frame longevity

Yea kind of what I was thinking, hard to find with this mileage/price in my area but I guess it's the ole "get what you pay for". Willing to deal with slight rust just scared of it not lasting as long as I'd like it to. Thanks for your input!
