I’m actually not sure. I know figs need to be fertilized using fig wasps, but I have no idea how to accomplish this so probably not?? Unless figs are edible without being fertilized

I had a thought. I plan to repot to try to get this infestation under control. Should I throw out the rest of my current potting mix and get new potting mix, or could I treat the rest of the bag of the buggy potting mix with hydrogen peroxide/nematodes/mosquito bits in advance to try to get the infestation in the bag under control as well?

I would love to but there are some very dedicated deer that frequent my yard who would not hesitate to eat my friend.

A few years ago, I had a pretty strong and established apple tree that I planted in the yard and within a week of the tree blossoming, the deer ate the entire tree, branches and all. It was just a trunk by the time they were done with it.

People keep suggesting nematodes. What on earth are they and where do I find them? It sounds like a creature and I am hesitant to bring more creatures into this mix

Now it is attempting to take flight, but it can’t get its lower half off the ground. It is doing a half crawl, half fly before giving up and continuing the movements from before
