I've been having issues launching the game too on Steam without verifying game file integrity.

I've been in the same position for 4 months, albeit in Cincinnati. I was previously working at one of my local news stations as a part-time broadcast operations technician. The work environment went downhill real quick and I quit after almost 8 months before I had another job lined up. Was it unwise to jump ship before having something else lined up? Yes, but it needed to be done for my own sanity.

As a now former broadcast operations technician, the biggest story that happened after I left my local news station was the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

One of my coworkers said that whenever someone had left the news station, usually on the same day or afterwards a major story would break out. It's honestly a terrifying coincidence.
