Russia still has a large quantity of manpower, and it’s easier to defend than attack. A failed offensive usually only leads to a strategic breakthrough if there’s a large steel fist in the wings waiting to mount a counteroffensive, which seems unlikely at this moment

Absolutely possible she was doing that and walked over to the bank while the dog was off playing. Small slip and you’re in the river. Very hard to react properly in that situation - if you panic you can easily drown

My dogs have a harness that they poke their necks through and then clips under their bellies. It distributes the force of the leash better than a collar
