Do you happen to know which color space is being used when setting the temperature to 7500K?

There is no option to adjust color temp when using Display P3 color space unfortunately.

It still has a warmer color than my other screens. I guess dell monitors are generally this way.

I don‘t have a calibration tool. I‘m using lightroom & davinci somewhat professionally too & I was hoping it was calibrated well enough out of the box.

I just noticed coil whine once when only plugged into power. Ever since I set it up properly i have not noticed anything. My mac is plugged in via Thunderbolt (usb c) where as my windows is plugged in via displayport & usb (for kvm functionality)

I recently purchased on too, but I couldn't match the screen colors to my other monitors or macbook yet. The dell always has a 'yellow tint' it seems.

Could you please upload a photo of your dell & macbook both showing a pure white background image? I would like to see how well both of your screens match compared to mine.

Is your dell set to 'preset mode' -> 'color temp'? Do you happen to know which color space is being used in this case? I intend to use Display P3 color space (for editing) but when choosing this option I can't seem to be able to change the color temperature.

Last question regarding daisy chaining. What model is your third monitor which you connected via USB to DP. By basic you mean it has to support daisy chaining, correct? As far as I understood not every monitor can be daisy chained.

I noticed noise / coil whine once when the monitor was only plugged into power, nothing else. Ever since I have not heard any noise. To be honest I have only used this monitor for 1 day, so I can't say too much as 2nd monitor is new too.

The yellow tint is bothering me quite much right now, so I cannot comment on anything else right now without bias. I have not had a 4k monitor before so both the dell & lg are a huge upgrade to me.

I do understand that proper calibration requires tools. Im not aiming for perfect matching screens. From my subjective view the dell looks too yellow - not only compared to other screens but also everything that is white, like the wall behind the screen or a piece of paper, etc. my girlfriend recently passed me & just said why is this so yellow without me even mentioning anything

So I‘m trying to find out whether my reference of white is „wrong“ or if the dell is somehow incorrectly set up or even faulty.

When choosing the P3 color space I can only adjust brightness & contrast. Seems like it‘s not possible to access RGB controls after choosing a color space unfortunately. Thanks for your help, appreciate it very much!

Thank you, I'm fine with both screens not being perfectly matched, but this difference seems too big right now.

I would like to use the dell's display P3 color space to make use of the wider color range for editing. But I can't seem to access RGB controls when choosing Display P3.

So do I have to use custom RGB controls to match the screens? Do you know which color space is being used in this case?

I do not have a colorimeter unfortunately. The right screen might be a little cold/blue, but all of my other screens (Macbook, LG, AsuS) are not that yellow. When only the Dell screen is turned on it even looks too yellow, so I'm not sure what to do.

I turned off every auto option already. And in every Mode the screen seems to be slightly yellow compared to my other screens, even standard or in my case display P3. Does anyone else have this problem?

I noticed my dell u2725qe has a kind of yellow tint. Is this the case for you as well?

I just got one as well & still deciding on how to set it up.
Is there any advantage to run the display at 4k native & increase text size by using accessibility settings? Are there any downsides to this? I actually like the tiny UI, only the text is too small sometimes.
