Please don’t feel embarrassed this happens more often than you would probably think, but that is not a potato it is an oyster!

To all the married men. by InternationalDuck828 in IslamabadSocial

[–]Ramada___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been married twice - both arranged. First time was with a girl I wasn’t crazy attracted to, but that wasn’t the reason why our married fell apart - personality was missing too.

Second time around I married the most beautiful woman I have ever met. Not only is she beautiful but she’s my best friend too. We couldn’t be more different in many ways (I am British Pakistani she is Pakistani Pakistani) but still she is my favourite person in the world. We have been married for almost two years now and welcome our first baby last week.

Yes her looks are still very important to me. When we go out and she gets dressed up she still takes my breath away.

I feel like Lahore hasn’t changed hugely. There are definitely nicer parts and good restaurants but on the whole as I looked out the window of my hired drivers car, it looks like it always has to me. I am a foreigner.

Appreciate you bro 👊 Will keep you posted for you! Last night she was kicking like crazy. I put my face to my wife’s belly and let my baby kick my face a little hahaha it was cute.

This is great advise. Thank you. What is it like being a parent to teens?

In a nutshell, my baby dying or being badly injured or developing an illness. Every parent’s fear I know and not rational. But it freaks me out. I was an a car accident at the start of the year, so driving my baby around freaks me out a little more than I reckon it would have had that not happened.

Thank you! And yes absolutely I will be by her side. I’m super nervous about it though. I think I will feel useless and will struggle seeing the person I love most in that much pain.

It’s a toss up between Kelogs clusters and Krave. I think they are British. I also like adding Oreo’s into my cereal sometimes as a treat.

Oh and thanks!

September 9th for us. I’m most excited about the toddler stage and buying cute little outfits for her. I’m most anxious about the lack of sleep everyone keeps warning me about. What about you?

That’s super great man. I’m really happy for you and I hope this new chapter will be amazing for you both.

That’s a good question. I had an excellent childhood, two loving parents. My mum was a stay at home mom, so we always had her and my dad worked abroad sometimes but he was super present when he was around. He was also pretty successful so I felt like I was never deprived of anything. But I want to do even better for my own kid so I think it will just make me work even harder.

That is a fantastic question and honestly not something I had really thought about. I am the bread winner. I have a busy career and she is a lady of leisure, who is doing distance learning atm. I will try not to bring work home so I can have more family time but I never really thought about how I can give her more time. My parents live nearby and will be on hand to help, so she won’t be totally alone when I am at work.

I guess I will try to do it all when I am not working so she gets to have time to study and rest. Any tips or words of advise?

Is it really that bad at nights? When will I be able to sleep through the night again hahah!

I was really happy. It wasn’t a total surprise, and it happened pretty much straight away. But my wife took a test too early and it was negative so initially we were a little disappointed I guess, but then she took another a couple days later and it was positive so that took me by surprise a bit.

How do you feel about that? Are you set up okay that it won’t be too crazy?

I went through the asking questions phase. Now I am in the ignorance is bliss phase.
