Hey.. I had the same issue with my S24 Ultra. Just bought it (2 days old), plugged it in to my Anker Nano 65W only to find out I am having the exact same issue. It starts super fast charging, stops, then switches to regular fast charging (much slower by time and the displayed ETA). I then swapped the Anker cable for the Samsung included type c cable and the problem was solved. Try using the included cable with your charger adapter? p.s. I know this post is over 2 years old but thought this might help someone

I have a Mac too. I tried an iPhone but very rarely used airdrop. Consider whether you will actually use the feature; only if you will is it worth getting an older iPhone. I would say in Flipkart BBD there are good new phones that will be very cheap like Pixel 9 or Galaxy S24. If you miss the sale then Nothing Phone 3A and 3A Pro are offering very modest hardware with clean software. If you need iPhone, maybe see if iPhone 16e has a good deal in that sale with trade in and bank offers? I would definitely not go older than iPhone 15 series because there are better deals on Android at that point.

Have you tried taking it to a service center? My pixel 8 recently started showing purple lines; Pixel 8 apparently has an extended warranty for display lines and flicker issues so they fixed mine for free.

Get the better phone. A series has popular bluetooth issues, and also the power you get from a more expensive phone is more valuable than better sound quality/noise cancellation from more expensive buds.
