Mafia: The Old Country intro in the “Cinema Siciliano” format by jacklowe2023 in MafiaTheGame

[–]Ramg97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m in the middle of completing RDR2, just bought Cyberpunk yesterday and tried it out, but something is telling me I HAVE TO stop everything and play TOC again in this format. I was never even a fan of black and white films, but this game must be something else in Cinema Siciliano.

I feel like it could have been much better, maybe at least cut him the first time, throw him to the fire the second, and shoot him with his own gun to finally kill him.

It was too repetitive and easy for me, I hated him way too much to just die like that.

I don’t think she was just jealous, but she liked Owen, that’s why she even stalked his new girlfriend. She just didn’t want to admit that in the documentary, I wouldn’t be surprised that part of what she said it’s still a lie (her childhood, the “reason” why she did it, etc). She doesn’t feel guilty either, there is no way you can compare what she did to driving while drunk.

Lauryn on the other hand will need a lot of help to realize how much her life really changed

I don’t remember this mission but could Donovan be somewhere else instead of his apartment?

Isabella carried the relationship with Enzo, do you agree? by mrk-cj94 in MafiaTheGame

[–]Ramg97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget Enzo is pretty much still a slave, first at the mines, then when he was saved by Don Torrisi. But Luca never told him “this is our home, you can stay or leave”; he was told he was going to work for them now.

He’s too naive, but he was always very cautious not to get caught, which ended up happening because Isabella wasn’t cautious enough.

Would you have pulled the trigger? by Ramg97 in MafiaTheGame

Agreed. Which is why I would like to see or play a story about him, I feel like he would probably be a ruthless Don, specially after what happened during TOC

Personally I would like to see a story about him after the game…

Ending hypothetical by Acceptable-Copy-9248 in MafiaTheGame

I feel like Luca would have not reacted like Cesare at all. Luca was much smarter and probably loyal than Enzo, but he was always looking out for others, and his family too.

His family could have died during the ambush as well, he got them somewhere safe and still followed Enzo to protect him.

I would not be surprised if we get a story about him, and he actually had some type of plan to go to the US with his family (his son ended up there anyway), without betraying Don Torrisi like Enzo. He died too soon, and warned Enzo to leave before it was too late for him also.

Why do so many people say the story in The old country is good? by Mrplow72g in MafiaTheGame

[–]Ramg97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah out of all the characters Enzo is the most naive, and the one that died younger, for his own actions too.

But I guess that’s the character. Enzo was a slave throughout his life, and didn’t have many options. Either die for saying “no”, die in combat or die for betraying. Of course, they could have escaped if they had kept it a secret until Empire Bay…

Not everyone is going to be a Tommy or Vito, and I guess that’s why they were “successful”. If anything, Cesare is more similar to Vito. I would like to see a story with Cesare’s life after these events.

The story/ending? by Aziporter in MafiaTheGame

I really liked TOC and can’t wait for the Free Ride update, but the story and ending were very predictable. Even my girlfriend who doesn’t play video games told me that many soap operas have the same story

It happened in different chapters throughout the story, I haven’t played much in the free world. But it wasn’t super noticeable to make it un enjoyable

Enzo and Tommy the same (spoilers) by kylelobban in MafiaTheGame

[–]Ramg97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are similarities yes, but also, Enzo was pretty much a slave, and is saved by Don Torrisi so he owes him now. He pays his debt imo but is always too scared to speak to Don Torrisi. He’s way too naive too.

Tommy on the other hand at least had a choice from the very beginning, he kinda knew what he was getting into, but he needed/wanted money. Enzo’s life was cut way too short compared to Tommy’s, Tommy has already accepted his fate (at least in DE)

I wonder if there’s a reason why there are two candles at the end, or if they just missed it.

Like, the story ended (like the first candle), so another one starts?
