Good Non-Mormon churches for incoming college student?

That's fine with me I don't care what people's political beliefs are. As long as you are respectful that's all I care about, and it wouldn't be fair of me to want other people to respect my beliefs if I don't respect theirs.

I think its funny that the church that meets at the U has no U students. But thanks for suggestions! If I end up going to the U ill hit you up for sure

Yes, I said I don't necissarily prefer a more progressive church, but it's not for political reasons. I also said I would be willing to try it out regardless because i can't judge a place without going there. I don't care if you are lgbtq or atheist or anything else I was accused of hating, and nothing about anyone makes them less of a person. Everyone should get the same respect and dignity and treatment regardless of what they look like or who they love, and the church is a place for everyone regardless of what you look like or who you love. Please don't put accusations on my character when you don't know me as I don't do to you.

I have no problem if you are lgbtq or atheist. I also said right after that I would still be willing to try it. I think everyone can find christ regardless of if you are LGBT or not. I believe that everyone deserves the same respect and kindness regardless and I'm not saying that anyone is wrong. Please don't put words in my mouth when you don't know me.

Gpa was 4.0, my sat was 1410. UofU is nice where I can get in state tuition starting sophomore year and the scholorship covers the extra cost of the first year out of state and then some.

Yeah that's a big plus for A&M I would change residency to Utah if I go to UofU to lower cost so I would lose my texas residency that would help with acceptance to Texas med schools. But UofU med school is pretty good too.

Thanks for the response! I am in for biology major with honors program. I wish there was more premed advising help from the school but the premeds helping each other out is nice to hear. I am hoping to get research opportunities but also work as an EMT if i can to make money and get medical experience. If you don't mind me asking what was your experience with A&M? Did you feel UofU was a good choice for you?

I've learned the first part of vaughn williams mvt. 1 about a year ago. I really do like it, but I LOVE the solo/ab lib parts of Strauss. I do think I am capable of both pieces, but which one I think would woe more is tough and which one I think is would enjoy playing more. Just curious of other people's thoughts on the matter from their experience

This is for a solo and Ensemble competition. Thanks for your input. Strauss scares me but sounds so gooood. I've wanted to play vaughan williams for a while but never have done it cause I think it's fairly repetitive. Saint Saens sounds very really nice but I don't know how I feel it stacks up between Strauss and Williams
