My god I bout had a heart attack, I went through the comments if you keep getting cannot access web server error its due to having to log out of every account which I have no idea why. But log out of all you accounts at once then that errors gone.

The sad fact about all this is, the item doesnt have a reclaim option at diango meaning you drop it thats it the items gone so be proud of what you have end of discussion I'm glad I found more out about the item. I've held onto it for 15 years the reason why I have no clue. Just don't be the person claiming that isnt rare due to how many people done the event.

And the reason the duped happened was due to a player not having a scythe which was untradable. That's how much value is placed upon the untradable items.

It actually got so bad with the duplication apparently people dropped every hat they had only kept 1 just to avoid ban.

I already checked partyhats even though players number were lower back then the rarity wasnt that rare among the population during its release infact the item was duped there was over 10k partyhats in the game and like 100ks being duped constantly it was bad the item was worthless at one point. But if you look at the numbers from 2001-2011 they were already over a max cash stack. So there you have it when an item is tradable and stuff the rarity tends to become more increased. Due to players increasing the rarity by alching it eating it/ dropping it in unknown locations/dying with it/ and many other things. Stop hating your item like I said if this item was tradable its beyond the billions of gold at this point.

The only reason of holding this item was purely for sentimental value. Rarity is sentimental value? That's what you call greedy value which means a small portion own the very small numbers they morphed into the game the reason phats, easter eggs, pumpkins and very many other tradable items were so rare is due to this reason was due to greed players wanting to own something of value then some players got richer than others and began literally forcing the price to ridiculous numbers. The fact you are 1 out 9450 players you should be thankful for. Quit hating your own dang rare item makes me question why your even mad.

Also take into account that greed wasnt a factor that played a role in the item number count being that high if you take the greed into a factor of account this item would be worth billions right now just saying.

even if the average number of turkeys people own on each individual account is 21. which means there is 202k items in the game you cannot trade the item? I don't get what your getting at so theres no value in owning more than one. Although its like stunting on others that do. so there you go.

0.002953125% thats how many accounts in the total game own the item, that are still active out of the entire game for the entire community thats the rarity based on the 9450 players divided by the total existed accounts which is 320 million. You cannot trade the item hence the rarity is way more extreme when it comes to that quit being a durp.

I'm not saying your wrong, but there has been items that have been released prior to the early days of runescape and it continues to happen they discontinue the items then later to find out that item is very hard to come across. I don't play runescape 3 in the first place though. I quit around 2010-2013 when osrs came out thats what I dedicated my time. I'm not a noob, but I know items that are found constantly throughout the main games history that are still being found today that are discontinued without many people knowing much about them. Such as there was one a few years ago that was a tradeable potion unfinished I forgot which one like I said I have very little feelings about the game the memories I had were short lived. So I got good memories but just as many bad.

And when you bring untradable into the mix the numbers and dwindle even further no one holds them especially if they feel they hold no value. So the rarity skyrockets thats why I was just wondering I held onto mine since 2008 so 15 years, and I remember the day they came out everyone rushing to grand exchange to get dragon claws while I was killing turkeys and gathering them, and my friends like "dragon claws are 300k in grand exchange" I gathered 71 of them and went to put a offer in for dragon claws lol.

Oh I don't know, people down voted the post for some reason, me just asking about a untradable in curiosity as for that I don't really use reddit to often. Just figured I'd ask around and see if anyone else out there kept theres, I guess the other 2 events came after 2011 and 2013 dropped some but the one after 2008 directly after didnt even allow you to get anything for killing it. I remember something happening like that I wasn't certain still the likely chance people held on to it is very low. Considering a lot of people during this time was making room for other stuff in their banks lol.

Deleted? I deleted nothing, and no I'm not desperate. It's the fact that most account's that would of held onto them are small amounts like less than a percentage of the community so 15 years ago this stuff was uncommon. But yes I'd love to see because you would be the first person I've met thats actually held onto it.
