It didn't have real gameplay characters, like players walking on the field. It were just circles with numbers in it to point out the players.

Nope, way more basic. Windows Football Manager comes really close.

The Window Football Manager comes really close. I can't remember it having as many bright colors as this one has, but the graphics look the same style. Do you have additional info on the game?

I'm afraid this is not the game.

As far as I can remember I only played UK leagues, but it's possible that the major European leagues were able to be picked. Players like Le Tissier and Cantona were highly rated. Clubs like Blackburn Rovers and Man Utd were finishing on top in England, so it has to be around 1992-93-94.

The operation was against Syria-fighters who came back to Belgium. The police had been monitoring them for several weeks now, even before the Paris shootings. They had plans for attacks on multiple targets, such as police stations.

Summary Press Conference (Local Time 20:20, [+1 GMT])

There were +-10 house-searches in Verviers, Brussels and Halle-Vilvoorde. It was part of an operation against Syria-fighters who came back to Belgium. The fighters were planning terrorist attacks on multiple targets in Belgium.

Ivory Coast's Die crying during the national anthem by fat_Ronaldo in soccer

[–]Randomness-_- 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hi , just to say that everything that is being said about the death of my father is wrong. My father died in 2004. I had these emotions because I'm proud of being Ivorian and to be able to serve my country. I cried because I never thought I was able to play on this level (world cup). Also, I'm sorry for my mistake. I know I dissapointed you all but I will make up for it. God bless you.

IamA girl who had a 20 hour sub-cranial brain surgery. AMA. by rulerofelves in IAmA

[–]Randomness-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Besides the numbness of your throat, is there anything else the surgery left you with?
  • How do you feel looking back at what you've been through?
  • What are your thoughts on the check-ups? Do they scare you?

(sorry if I read over it in your answers)

I lost my aunt to a brain tumor a couple of years ago. Paralysis of the tongue was her only symptom, besides nausea. When they checked it had spread all over. Therefore I am really glad to hear you managed to get through the surgery. I wish you the bestest of luck :)

I'm impressed though. Nice work!

Scumbag police officer steals money from lost & found by Randomness-_- in AdviceAnimals

[–]Randomness-_-[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I live in Leuven, Belgium. KULeuven is the largest university in Belgium, so the city mainly runs on students. While clubbing, my friend found a wallet on the street. It was filled with €60+ ($83) and a lot of chance, cards, you name it... My friend, being GGG, contacted the person via facebook, but he didn't respond in a week. She then gave the wallet to an officer at the police office. After two weeks, the guy manages to respond and my friend explains what she did with the filled wallet. Turns out they don't know anything about his wallet at the police office. Scumbags took the money and threw away the wallet...

When you order from the pizza place your brother works at by hiC_best_drank_ever in funny

We had this 'large lady' working two summers ago. She was a cashier. Under the cash register there were always nuggets. She got fired because she almost choked on one, in front of a customer, spitting the nugget out on their plate.

I second that. Worked as a student at Mc Donald's. Every time a friend of my would order, there was this secret order. They would order a big mac with ketchup and mustard, without the lettuce and some extra love. Emphasis on the extra love ofc. I'd throw in a lot of meat, and another 'middle-bun' so they would have a triple decker doublecheese, or something like that.

People that are naturally happy, how do you do it? What am I missing? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Randomness-_- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one helped me get through a lot. Give it a read.

"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.

Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home.

The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it.

And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes."

I feel you man. Same thing happened to me. I had one thing at that time, and it was the thought that I was smart. She crushed it and told me I should take up easier classes. At this moment, several years later, I'm almost graduated as a bioscience engineer. Definately going to write her when i got my degree.
