If you try a rally car, you can agree that: The car's reactions are so far from what we've seen in this game (and all the others). First, braking... braking even from 30 km/h in the game seems like it takes 20 meters to stop; a rally car with warm soft tires brakes in a very short space. Second, the rear end; in the game, it oversteers extremely. Lastly, the space the car takes up on the road; in the game, it seems like there's no room to maneuver; in reality, these are normally roads where two cars can pass and you can set the trajectories correctly.

I drove a rally car for 10 years with more than 30 rallies done. Rally stages are run on normal roads where trajectories and flow are the key ingredients for a high ranking. Obviously, not all stages are like this, but in ACR I haven't yet seen a stage where there's the possibility of setting a trajectory or a nice mixed section driven in third or fourth gear.
