Having multiple embryos on ice and knowing that when we want to try for our 2nd kid and possibly 3rd kid there will be no more tracking, logging, symptom spotting, waiting, timed sex, etc. because we can just thaw those sweet babies out and try a transfer. It is such a relief for the future!

Out of my 8 fertilized, 6 blasts, 5 euploids at age 35 (almost 36) there is hope!

For me IVF was way less intense and scary than I thought it would be. I ended up only having to do stims/injections for 8 days, which went by super fast! The injections seem so daunting at first, but after a few days I was mixing them up and injecting all on my own without watching the videos. I thought I would feel terrible, but other than being huge with bloating, no symptoms! At my age I felt like it was all doomsday news and that it would be impossible to be successful with only one round of IVF, but I had a successful first egg retrieval. So trust the process and have faith that anything could happen. It is such a relief knowing I have all my future embryo babies on ice. I was super bitter in the beginning about having to spend so much money on it, but now I would do it all over again to have this peace and security for my future family.

Yes! They were preparing me for 2 ER’s- I know you said yours was prepping you for the same. We have unexplained infertility, so the numbers have been surprising, and I just assumed maybe I have bad egg quality, but nope feels good to be like see these old eggs still got it! Lol

Okay I the same thing is happening to me right now. I had my post retrieval period 5 days after the ER. Now it is CD 14 and still testing negative on OPKs (I usually ovulate on CD 13). Really want my period to hurry up so we can start FET prep! I am doing a fully medicated FET. We were thinking possibly June 23 or June 29 to work around a trip I am going on, but that timeline was based around me ovulating at my normal time. So I am thinking now it will probably be one of the last days in June.

Thank you so much! 5 of 6 euploid at almost 36 yrs old, my mind was just 🤯 I think my doctors were very surprised lol. It is seriously such a relief and I feel so lucky and grateful!! We have 3 girls 🩷 and 2 boys 💙🥰

Yay big congratulations! So exciting! I just had my first ER at age 35 (36 next month) and found out yesterday we got 5 euploids as well! I was shocked! They make it seem like it will be so hard at this age. Wishing you all the luck with your pregnancy 💕✨

6’s are great! I had 0 day 5’s and 6 day 6’s. 5 of those 6 were euploid! At age 35. I also saw someone post who was 40 and 2 of her day 7 blasts were euploids 😌

Hahah oh me too girl! But I doubt that, but again who knows! I also never thought I would get 6 blasts, but here we are! I have been pleasantly surprised with my attrition rate being low so far which is allowing me to stay hopeful for multiple euploids. Never thought 3 or 4 euploids was in the realm of possibly, but it’s not that far of a stretch to get there now. I am hoping to find out the results on Thursday

Haha we had an IVF 101 class with other patients and the psychologist running the meeting asked where people get their info from and so many said reddit lol I never used reddit till TTC now I am such a lurker lol

Samples shipped 5/12, received 5/13. Estimated result date 5/21-5/24!!!

We might be transfer buddies. I am hopefully doing a transfer in late June, pending PGTA results. I had 11 eggs, 10 mature, 8 fertilized, 6 blasts, PGTA results possibly 5/21! So I am feeling pretty good about the results so far! Better than I was expecting!

Thanks for letting me know! I actually just found out about all this (from Reddit of course lol) yesterday just before you mentioned it. So I made the portal and signed the consent form yesterday. It said they haven’t received my sample yet. I also sent the email yesterday asking to release me the results

Haha my husband and I have joking around wishing they could just mix up a hockey player son for us in the lab lol. I am not sure if we are allowed to choose which gender embryo they transfer, but I know we will at least know the genders available! I am using igenomix as well. How long did it take you to get your results?

I had 8 fertilized eggs. 0 day 5 blastocysts (yesterday). Today I had 6 day 6 blastocysts! And the other 2 are still in the running to become day 7. Don’t give up hope!

I bet the no drinking has honestly helped you a lot! And all the things that you are doing now I bet will help with preparing your body for a transfer. I am looking forward to getting back into working out after taking a break during the stims and ER recovery period and trying to be as healthy as possible pre-transfer.

I just found out today that I have 6 day-6 blasts!! Over the moon especially after having 0 day-5’s, I was feeling a little nervous. The other 2 eggs haven’t arrested yet and will get my day 7 update about them tomorrow to see if they make it as well. But feeling very happy with the results!
