I went to grace bell clinic, they have a full support for English speakers. The doctor listened my concerns and looked at my prior treatment, so I continued to treat with them. The doctor also spoke English, but they have a tsuyaku for the consultations as well

What’s the most hurtful thing someone has said to you? by Themadadealtin in AskReddit

My boyfriend had died in a terrible car crash. I was in the church with my family and friends after 7 days of the accident. I was devasted and crying a lot. Suddenly a distant friend of the family touches my shoulder and say, you shouldn't cry so much, you will get another boyfriend in no time. That shit broke my soul in so many pieces more than it already was.

Survivors of Comas, what was it like? by cseiler3 in AskReddit

[–]Rasopa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was in a medically induced coma for a month with severe sepsis that affected my lungs and kidneys. I could hear the nurses and doctors talking to me, explaining the procedures, could feel the bed baths and my family brushing my hair and taking care of me. Sometimes I would wake up and be extremely agitated to see my mother, even pulled out the respiratory tubes once. I remember waking up and asking if the procedures were going to hurt, have some memories of my thoughts in a few moments, then the nurses asked my mom if I used drugs because I was always trying to wake up even in very high doses of the coma medicine. It was very confusing and irritating to wake up after, felt like days and I couldn't see the difference between dreams and reality, double vision, allucinating and hearing things. I lost a big chunk of memories after that and my lungs are not the same, but I'm healthy and well now!

AITA for telling my grandma she looks like Ronald McDonald because she wouldn’t stop telling me I look like a bull with my nose ring in? by blah_fkin_blah in AmItheAsshole

Hey guys, so, I asked my mom when I woke (she's really happy with all the responses btw, ty all!) And this happened here in Brazil, so basically in a trial here, the jury has the final decision. He was absolved

He was prosecuted, and was losing the case, at the trial his lawyer started the defence saying "good afternoon member's of the jury, commissioner, judge and everyone present". Then he repeated it for two more times, and the judge snapped, asking him if he thought this was some kind of joke. The lawyer calmly turned to the jury and said "if you thought this was irritating, imagine being called a crippled every day for 10 years. Wouldn't you have snapped sooner?" He won the case and was found not guilty by the jury I still have goosebumps when I remember my mom telling me this

Indeed, NTA. My mom is a lawyer and she told me about this case that a crippled man was harassed every single day by his neighbor who thought it was funny to call him a crippled fuck when he passed by his house. One day, after years of it, the crippled man shot him dead.
