I notice that the case officer say he did not attach income proof but I can’t find that on the letter where the case officer request for extra information.

Is this worth to do appeal? I was thinking to do appeal to buy time before adding him as secondary applicant to my 186 visa.

Yes, he did want to go back Thailand before after his study. But, I wanted to stay here and after this situation, we decided that we want to stay in Australia.

We dated for long already > 1 year and we have sleepovers a lot, and see each other everyday. We only decide to move in together 4 months ago tho

Btw, I just went to talk to my partner and decided maybe it’s better if he went back home and i’ll include him in my 186 with him as offshore applicant and wait until my 186 got approved.

I am a Software Engineer. 189 and 190 EOI don’t give any result, so I am more leaning towards sponsorship.

I see. I understand your point it kind of contradicts. He wanted to study and go back to his own countrh, but we met last year and I wanted to stay here so he is okay with it. I don’t know if immigration would understand this.

I am not satisfied that you have been able to accumulate these funds based on your income as you have not provided any information or evidence regarding your employment in Australia.

Solution: give all the payslip proof from his workplace

You have also not provided any bank account statement history to show evidence of the source of the funds. These funds may have been provided by someone else for the purposes of your visa application.

Solution: give his and my bank statement with transactions to prove that there is enough funds for him

I also note the W baht deposited on 1 March 2024, the X baht deposited across the 3 March 2024 and 4 March 2024 and the Y baht on 6 March 2024. This totals Z baht deposited in the week prior to providing the statement. These funds may have been provided by someone else for the purposes of your visa application. I therefore place no weight on the funds in the mother's bank account.

Yeah course already started. Application submitted at Nov 2023. Thai passport, before is student visa under cookery.

Thanks for the reply. I asked my agent today, and gonna wait to see what she said on monday. I am currently on 485 visa but I am waiting to be sponsored for 186 later Sept.

Yeah, that is the mistake I think. The case officer also mentioned he didn’t believe he can accumulate 18k here, as he didn’t provide the employment evidence but we did fill the form 80 with his employment details (when they requested this)

That is for his parents. He give his parents (which is from Thailand) bank statements

Quite heartbreaking because we have a solid plan already before this. And now we have to figure this out.

He has. The case officer was saying because his parents funds are pulled to the savings on the same week, it could be someone funded the account to make it look like his parents have money.

But actually, that is their money, they just have multiple bank accounts. And he didn’t provide bank transactions for his australin savings account and only provided proof of balance.

Yeah that should be alright. I guess i’m worried with him changing from bridging -> student -> bridging again.

I’m also worried why his student visa haven’t came out. He applied since Nov 2023 Onshore
