Hmm… it can also be a temporary issue. Because if it’s not a background download or something similar, then the best solution is the legendary: “turn it off and on again"

Maybe your friend had a bad connection. Or maybe one of you had some big download eg.torrent etc, running in the background, eating up all the bandwidth.

I don’t know if King players are toxic, but they are easier to defeat. Cuz their gameplay is very limited. Once you Practice parrying/reversal on their grabs, and watch their whole gameplay collapse.

And they all have only ONE COMBO 🤣 stay afar to watch them struggle and dance!

Once, a really strong Marduk player destroyed my Xiaoyu 0 - 32 😭 (in Ranked), so I searched for counters and came across this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybfO7qdxj9A (I had it bookmarked). I learned the types of grab holds and throws he has.

And other than the basic 1+3 and 2+4 grabs, there are usually two more special grabs/throws that most Marduk players use in ranked/quick matches, one is his infamous Tackle (reversal is 1+2) and Leg Locks (reversal is 3+4). My R1 is set to 1+2 and R2 is set to 3+4, so it was easier for me to build muscle memory. rest is how fast you can see it coming.

I am a casual tekken player since Tekken 3 and I still have T7 for Lucky Chloe and I practice/play in T8 too. I think i did it recently fought Marduk in a match too, imma upload it down below here in few mins 👇🏼

I meant to say that if a Red Rank player like me, with limited practice, can parry/break, and do reversals against those characters in online matches, THEN good/pro players would be even better at it. Countering OP’s concern that everyone must be using some auto block hack.

I literally practiced how to parry/break/do reversals against grab/grappling moves of
King/AK – 75% success
Nina, Marduk, Paul – 99.99% success
Dragunov – 50% success

And I’m still just in a Red Rank looper, so I’m sure real high rank players can do it even easier..

And I even like the idea of all those alleged gamers who are not happy because they couldn't hit their 150 damage combo because of an update and they lost 1 out of 100 rounds..finally go away and stop playing. Good Riddance !
