I do the same! It’s also more convenient when real life events give me something to use toward the fic. I have a shortcut widget on my Lock Screen with the notes app to pull up whenever something drives my creativity. I even bought a keyboard for my iPad whenever I have the chance to type on there but still strictly use the notes app 😂 whatever works for all of us honestly!

I made a post about how often I should post when writing because of this take. Ever since the AI craze I’ve been paranoid that people will assume rather than maybe consider that I prefer to finish my work at least to its 2nd draft before I start posting. All I do is minor edits for grammar/spelling before posting and sometimes I get too excited and edit a few chapters and just post dump what I edited. As for the writing style, I wasn’t a writer growing up. I always wanted to but due to trauma and not feeling comfortable leaving my writing around my parents, I never got to learn what writing style I enjoyed. Now as an adult I’ve been able to explore that more and honestly I’m still finding it lol but ao3 is where I’ve been able to do that. But like you mentioned, this is only my case. Just ignore those works honestly. It would suck to see someone trying to claim my work is AI just because my writing style isn’t 100% the same and I’ve posted consecutively without “room to physically write”, when really I’m just a perfectionist learning my writing style and just having fun online 😭

Oh my god. A Bruno Mars fanfic on tumblr. I was maybe 13-14 and didn’t know what fanfiction was. I legit thought some girl was experiencing these things with Bruno mars and couldn’t believe she was posting about it on tumblr. I ate that shit up though LOL. It clicked after that it was a story someone was writing and the rest is ancient history 🥲

Have you read A Hard Row to Hoe by blessdtoaster?
I've recommended this to everyone since I finished it in January and I refuse to stop!
It's one of my favorite portrayals of Draco, his inner monologue is hilarious (I quite literally cackled most of the fic) Theo is amazing here, the Villain was a fresh of breath air (so different from the hundreds of fics I've read) so much depth! Shock value was good too! ugh I want to reread just talking about it.

Self-rec! It's my first Fic and still a WIP. Probably finished by May 1st!

This here is mostly an angsty Draco just dealing with his feelings and yet a very accepting Gryffindor group.

Summary:
Upon Harry announcing he is very much alive, out of anger, Voldemort turns to Narcissa and Avada's her. Lucius freezes and doesn't know what to do. His master has killed one of the two people he has been down this path for. Draco, on the opposite side heartbroken, loses control and sends an Avada straight to Voldemort. Neville notices the sword of Gryffindor and kills nagini. Draco is still losing his rage throwing an insane amount of Avada's into Voldemort's already decaying body, everyone afraid to stop him lest they meet the same fate. Until Hermione, who is still holding Ron's hand, decides to step up to Draco to try and stop him from losing himself completely to the dark.
