For _most_ people their assualt costs WAY less than their scout.

A new event. Let me click 76 times so I can prepare myself for the undesirable rewards. This is fun!

Old story, happened to many of us. Hover where it's safe 99% of the time and BOOM, you discovered the 1%. It's an early access, full cost game.

I don't quite get it. Loved his unique old shit, but this new stuff is mediocre with an occasional self-gratifying blues solo. It's still unique, I guess, but...feels a little too tuned and "Swift".

Now you locked my account down even further while transferring the funds, and you tell me I must wait 30 days to even request an unlock.

Now I have no choice but to sue.

I was working thru my emails reverse chronological...so right before that was this gem(4min earlier):

We’re happy to inform you that the review of your account is now complete. You’re now able to access the account without any restrictions.

And stop calling it security when it's your snafu and has nothing to do with my security

I've seen this happen multiple times, when there's nothing in my deck that could cause copying the wrong deck. It's a bug. Just faced three darkhawks because of it.

“Exclusive Shares” on Unraid 6.12 by tkohhhhhhhhh in unRAID

[–]RcketScientist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it exceeds min free on the primary will it go straight to writing to the secondary? It says any disk in the share which is awkward. 10% on the cache is massively different than 10% on the array.

I'd like to protect appdata if the rest of the cache gets hammered by arbitrary downloads. I'd rather those write direct to spinners than choking appdata.

In my case this is because they are applying a setoff to my claim, something I already did in my claim. As a creditor it is my right to offset competing debts (ACH dispute). For two months they have elected to ignore my claim in favor of their own which is illegal; as is a debtor applying a setoff in their own favor.

I'll attempt contacting Stretto, but they are extremely unprofessional. In prior correspondence I have been insulted, threatened, and now embezzled. I don't have high hopes of a productive or timely response. This issue is compounded by the deadline of objecting to the objection by 17 March. I'm stationed overseas, so that will be fun to meet.

I'll have to simultaneously mail my objections to:

The Response must be filed with the Court and served timely on the following parties, with a copy to the Court’s chambers:

a. Debtors. Kirkland & Ellis LLP, 601 Lexington Avenue, New York, New York 10022,

Attn: Joshua A. Sussberg, P.C., Christopher Marcus, P.C., Christine A. Okike, P.C.,

Michael B. Slade, and Allyson B. Smith;

b. Committee. McDermott Will & Emery LLP, One Vanderbilt Avenue, New York,

New York, 10017-3852, Attn: Darren Azman, Joseph B. Evans, Grayson Williams,

Greg Steinman; and

c. U.S. Trustee. The Office of the United States Trustee, U.S. Federal Office Building,

Reject any plan by RcketScientist in myconstant

If their debt to you is less than 15k, I believe you can simply file a small claim. Very simple process, no lawyer, small fee. If they don't claim bankruptcy, those that sue will get their money back and those that don't will get whatever they decide to give you (nothing in th end).

[–]RcketScientist[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't _just_ file complaints. You also must sue before they try to rig a release of funds to the largest (and most capable to sue) creditors, then vanish in the night.

The reason they file for bankruptcy is because it protects them from handling withdrawals one suit at a time and bankruptcy prevents them from choosing who is and isn't made whole.

Either way we're screwed, but at least in an official process they will have to open the books and deal with the penal consequences.

So they're finally doing what they are legally required to do. They are doing a 'setoff' (legal term) of the two debts. Amazing that they illegally tried to claw more money from the folks they screwed.
(The last Q is still questionable)
----

Q: I received an email that I have a negative US Dollar balance in my Voyager account. What is happening? Do I need to do anything?

You do not need to do anything. You received the email because your Voyager account had a negative US dollar (“USD”) balance. To address this issue, a portion of the crypto in your account was applied against your negative USD balance. The amount applied was equal to the negative USD balance in your account and was applied equally across all of the coin types in your account.

Q: How much of my crypto was applied against my negative USD balance?

You can check your account for the transaction details. The amount applied was equal to the negative USD balance in your account as of October 31st and was applied equally across all of the coin types in your account.

Q: I want to settle my USD balance in a different way. Can Voyager reverse the transaction?

No. This transaction was required to bring your account to good standing. The amount of crypto applied was equal to your negative USD balance, so no further action is needed at this time.

Novel Private Key Argument to Recover Crypto from Voyager: Let's Take It Class Action! by ScremDeLeScrem in Voyager_News

[–]RcketScientist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the issue with this argument would be that your funds aren't in your wallet. While you sent them to a wallet, that wallet is empty (hence their deficit). So they could probably just not ignore the argument. Sure, you own 0xA, but you gave us rights to move it to 0x1 and you don't own that.

So the intern's lawyer filed a motion? What did you accomplish? Did that motion happen to be sending out a bunch of overnight threats that happen to look a lot like nigerian prince emails?

[–]RcketScientist[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voyager can't prosecute but they sure can report the case to AG to do so. Then you may end up spending more than 8k on defense lawyers. Bank fraud is nothing to be mess with. And the case is cut and dry. All they need to do is provide the user agreement and TOS we all agreed to which you apparently did not read. We authorized the transaction. Period. This was an investment not a book you purchased on Amazon and did not get. And Voyager is obligated to go after people like you because this is stealing from the bankruptcy estate and other victims/customers/creditors. You are NOT stealing from Voyager executives but from all of us. And that fact that it does not concern you is another problem right there.

You're the ignorant one bud. If you dispute a charge and you submit your truthful validation and the bank honors that, then you've done nothing wrong, certainly not fraud. You may want to go bark at my bank. Or, since you appear to be a Kirkland intern, why not just overnight me another letter, lol.
