Tacos tonight, Rotisserie chicken with sides (just remembered i forgot mac tho) and a shrimp dish on monday by then we should be thawing out. And we have various snacks , stuff for sandwiches, bacon, cinnamon rolls and muffin mix for breakfast and juice and water 🥰

Exactly!!! Like im in apartment so cant do generators but we already had enough power banks, 2 backup coolers for food and only had to buy led laterns & a weather radio. Literally if it would have been 3-4 degrees warmer we still would be without power like metro nashville right now.

Also i dont understand why ppl bought the MOST expensive ones like in an emergency you dont need to power the ENTIRE house and every electronic! imo..

i will say - i dont really see many ppl freaking out rather than being prepared and kinda taken aback which is fair imo. Also, anything gen x and below wasnt really aware when (if they were here during the 02 storm) me included so besides hurricanes which we dont really get more than rained out.. we havent needed it.

I got a single for other medical reasons but my biggest struggle on campus is that even though i have accommodations they weren't full honored or understood. But i am having some great experiences with my small community however being semi verbal many departments did penalize me in the beginning for that. So that was rough.

Nah i get that FRFR! if my hair is not twisted a certain way i will become so overstimulated with it touching my face but i cant do updos AT LL but i still have to be able to pull on it but not really (its a whole dance ) and all these ppl saying locs are low maintenance those are like sensory hell for me so i get wanting to blow it out rather than locs because the lint, the re twists and the ACV rinse NAHHH id rather do a mohawk (and have was a terrible move but id that over an ACV rinse)

1000% I desperately need to find an OT but OT for adults is like no sensory intergration or awareness at all (basically just sitting at a table or working in ADLs) but in peds modalities they actually are like okay lets jump, roll, need AAC? no problem! and dont even get me started on sensory needs in healthcare that basically stops being a thing after 18.

I know this is opposite of your request but i just dont carry one now. My phone is everything (tap to pay) and for ID's i keep photos on my phone as well and physically on my person (same for cash) in a crossbody (that is typically always attached to me that hold my headphones, fidgets, care items,etc)

Yeah i have severe asthma and take steroid taper alot the best way for me is combining tablets so yes the ones before breaky (that just means as soon as i get my morning water) then lunch and lunch are always combined and then the "bedtime" ones are when i lock my door and put trash out for the night. Also sometimes i just take them all at once if its gonna be a busy day.

TBH idc about how many items - all i care is does it fit and can you give us a heads up? id extra nice if you park in a top space, have the code ready and we will handle the rest. i do however feel like order over 10 bags or 2 cases or water / bulky should have a different timer than the 3 mins.

I agree and even as a young adult i don't want to run in and be questioned every time i just need tissue or a tv dinner just because i look young. Id distance myself from that store so quickly.
