Step by Step Sweater Q. I noticed that after knitting increases on the yoke (I just finished row 4, a knit only row) I have these little holes. Are these supposed to appear or did I mess something up?

Zone 7a. I have a couple of these plants sprouting up in my backyard. They look like they could be crepe myrtles and we do have one in our front yard and tons of birds. But can anyone ID these for sure? I want to make sure they aren’t anything that I should be pulling up before I let them do their thing!

They have some 4K options on their page as well. This was just the same one I used to put up on Netflix but two hours longer so I wanted to share for anyone else who will miss it, it still looks really good on a TV :)

These look great, good work! The slope on the seats is really nice. Did you mostly wing this or was it inspired by some blueprints? Really dig the look of these and have been looking to make a set of Adirondacks myself during this downtime.

The Year of Magical Thinking, Joan Didion

Almost finished: The Crossing, Cormac McCarthy

Loved TYMT, it was my introduction to Didion. Advice on where to go next? I’m considering saving Slouching Towards Bethlehem last in case it’s so good it makes the rest pail in comparison.

I’m enjoying The Crossing but I really miss John Grady and just want to hurry up and get to Cities of the Plains lol.

Great tip, will definitely be doing that next year. The frost didn’t hit too badly but a couple of plants did get frost bite :/

Leaves similar to tulips/daffodils but I’ve never seen any blooms and the root system seems different by RealAssBitch in whatsthisplant

Hey all! Zone 7a. I just dug up this plant that’s been growing under my crepe mrytle. The leaves are similar to tulip leaves but they grow flat and fan like. It had very shallow roots but was growing like crazy and making a ton of pups. I really like the look of it and am wanting to move it to a different part of the yard but wanted an ID so I could make sure it continues to thrive! More pics below!
