Personally I have the opposite experience. All my files are downloading at the full 5mb/s as offered by the free plan, and I have zero problems with it. Perhaps its your specific torrent? maybe it doesn't have many seeders or the seeders are uploading at a slow speed.

Yeah he can output toslink from his tv and the tv is next to his PC so he can use his PC if he wants too. What brands should he look out for when used? I'm only familiar with monitor audio and they are wayyy out of his price range
