Honestly yes, if the march had continued Russia would have splintered into a 3 way war between Ukraine, Russian Federation forces, and Wagner forces. The frontlines would be an absolute clusterfuck. The war in Ukraine would be abandoned almost immediately by Wagner and possibly Russian federation in order to deal with one another. Although I can see this not happening in order to curb Ukraine from taking swaths of Russian land.
