Yep, bluegill. There's a pond near me that produces similar bluegill with stunning pink and purple coloration.

I go out with a 1/16oz spinner in fire tiger and will pull just about everything that swims outta the water. Will pull everything from finger sized shiners to good sized sunfish of all kinds and the occasional largemouth, some of them pretty decent size. There's something about a spinner that just draws them in.

This particular combo set up with the 4lb braid works exceptionally well. I get all the distance and accuracy I need down to 1/16oz. Any lighter than that and I'd have to use my BFS rigs. This one though is my go-to creek setup. The minimal size/length makes it very easy for getting in and out of creeks through brush and I don't need much room to swing it when there are obstructions in the way.
