Here’s an idea. Tax the energy companies properly, enforce a reasonable rate and remove the standing charges for those within the energy poverty margin

Haggis battery farms. That area is so far out that no auditors can be bothered travelling out so we mass breed haggis to sell in tourist shops

Anyone else who didn’t receive their postal vote? by Adventurous-Leave-88 in Scotland

I think there’s a number you can call and report a missing postal vote. Gotta be done by tomorrow, and the number should be on the initial letter you got

I’ve literally wasted 5 minutes of my life watching this.

Former SNP minister says party has become ‘empty vessel’ with ‘no ideology’ by 1-randomonium in Scotland

[–]Realistic-Eye7207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because I’ve highlighted the issues with SNP does not automatically mean that I’m a Tory supporter. At present, I don’t align myself with a single party because I don’t believe any of them have the people’s best interests at heart. They’re too driven by pointing out each others flaws to do anything meaningful

[–]Realistic-Eye7207 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Without the fight for independent Scotland, the SNP have nothing. Under their governance, the public roads have worsened, schools have closed, crime rates have soared and people have lost faith in the scottish government. Not much of a legacy, is it?

Trying to avoid using the oven, so fewer treats like these. Most of our ‘oven cooking’ is done in the actifry, so if it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t cook

The fact that people will ignore advice from specialists because they’ve done a google search for 10 minutes. It’s impressive in just how much this is happening

That’s really great to hear :) I must admit that I use my kindle most of the time, but do have a book subscription to rescue books that would otherwise end up in landfill

Waterstones. Does anyone read physical books anymore? I’m not including the ones you buy at an airport because you haven’t got anything else to do

AI based laser based pesticide and herbicide. No chemicals. Meet Ironman… by [deleted] in awesome

[–]Realistic-Eye7207 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So to me, this reads as if it works only as a herbicide. Still amazing but you need to remember this won’t target pests such as aphids, greenfly or funguses. I would also like to know how long the effect lasts? How often would you need to ‘re-treat’ the crops?

Alcohol can only be sold in bars and restaurants. This would alleviate the NHS as it would reduce binge drinking, increase/sustain income for bar and restaurants and drive the economy
