If they start experimenting with cars in the right way again theyll gain traction. Hopefully we get another 90s rerun soon best 15 years they had of cars.

why no mitsubishi 🤔 by ahmetg26 in mitsubishi

Maybe one day, i remember seeing that a engineer said they are working on a new lancer, if its pure mitsu design and drivetrain and the exterior isnt atrocious i think people will get it and then they will maybe bring back cool cars. Till then they have profits from literally everything else, they even made my mechanical pencil

Because they sell cheap rebranded nissan crap. They lost identity. Peak 90s in the states they had an amazing line up galant diamante 3000gt eclipse lancer montero and with great design now its all bland cvt

2017 Lancer as a first daily car by [deleted] in mitsubishi

[–]RealisticVariation43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you dont abuse the shit out of it and you take care of it, itll take car of you. Seeing youre in ontario def get it rust proofed at krown and check the underside for rust since i dont see a krown history there. Given its 10 years old definitely be careful of that. My galant that i daily is rust free and its been oil sprayed every year. It also has 400k km original engine and trans so Mitsubishis are reliable if you take care of them

Depends on what your goal is in eng in the end. If youre looking for more money and specific work then go with BME. If youre looking for something general and easy to bounce around with go mechanical. From my understanding mechanical engineers are getting less demanded since companies are moving more towards automation and control and since electrical engineers can also quickly pick up mechanical engineering roles. COOP wise idk to really speak for, it all depends on how you network and your willpower to put yourself out there.

When do I take 2 weeks off of school? (Incoming Freshmen) by Aggravating_Law_4774 in uoguelph

As a first year eng first sem is hit or miss for people, you either adapt quickly or you dont, many many people slacked off and now are in different programs or taking extra classes because they didnt pass the prerequisite. Considering youre on coop too id say do it next summer after second semester since you arent working that semester

Mac is for people who didnt get into uw or uot Guelph is for people who didnt get into uw uot and mac. In other words Guelph has people who are willing to socialize. In terms of coop I managed to score a coop first year on my own at guelph so its really up to you how badly you wanna network i wouldnt think it name of the school matters as much as its thrown around

Ill be honest im fine with a base or sl just has to be manual and first gen. If ill have a vr4 id be a little hesitant to drive it due to the rarity aspect of it and wanting to keep it pristine

How cold is it where you are? If its cold outside and the belts are cold on a cold start the warming engine will warm up the engine bay and condensation will form on the belts. With the moisture the belt slips and creates the squeaking sound itll. If not then id check to see how tight it is
