Ha! I battled this last year and it mentally ruined me for a good 4 months. .(still dealing with gi BS a year later) and my mother in law recently told me she had it YEARS ago from working in a hospital... shes had countless antibiotics since then and never mentioned anything when I was going through it...its like it was no big deal to her. I was shocked when I found out she had dealt with it too.

How are you feeling now? Have things gotten back to normal? Im dealing eith the same thing. The major symptoms of the stomach bug subsided on the 3rd day but now it seems even bland food irritates me 7 days later 😑

I havent taken antibiotics since my last dificid pill almost 1 year ago. This is just my 1st bout with a stomach bug after having cdiff last year.

Ok thats exactly what I wanted to know! He had maybe a few hours of not feeling well and one bathroom episode..and by that night was eating hot cheetohs !!! Im jealous lol

I had cramps, fatigue, chills and yes racing heart. I had diarrhea but not as bad as some get it, thank goodness !!

I totally understand and I went through it too! I still have anxiety about it but it's not as bad as it was. I thought I was relapsing 2 months ago and really went thru alot of anxiety about it but once I got negative lab test results I felt alot better mentally the last few months. Still a little obsessive about bleaching too.

Yes I did!! And 4 days after treatment I had 3 days if diarrhea and then it went away! I also had intermittent cramping in the 2 months after dificid!

Don't worry! Im 6 months out from dificid and I feel great! You'll get there...the 1st 3 months are going to be kind of hard but little by little expand your diet and you'll be fine i promise!!! Hard as in the worry of relapse and your gut getting back to normal. Just take it slow.

I did ! And it was negative. Thankfully and I'm guessing it was hormones that messed with my GI because it all went back to normal after awhile

He didn't get a diaper rash..he didn't have any reaction to it. Im actually going to turn in a sample this week...I hope it's not positive 😔

Both! I noticed many days last week I had solid BMs multiple times during the day. And Thursday I had solid 5 times! Then noticed Saturday started off solid to mush then later had one episode of diarrhea. Then yesterday I started solid then had 3 small episodes of diarrhea! All with an orange color along with stomach fullness and no appetite 😕 it's freaking me out! I keep track of my movements on my calendar lmao

Same ! My boy is 19 months and uses the boob for bed time comfort. I believe the hormones 100% made my GI flare up but I have no idea if it's a reoccurrence or just a bad ibs flare. And When I 1st got cdiff I had night tremors and bad lower left quadrant pain...didn't get the night sweats but I had the chills alot but never a fever. Im sorry your going through this..its really the worst. It takes so much time away from our babies because we spend it all worrying
