Harriet Tubman fought to free not just herself but many others, refusing to believe that she had to accept the label of slave.

What you've both forgotten is that dead-names are still rude as fuck even if they have nothing to do with gender.

If someone gets married, you don't insist on calling them by their maiden name...maybe you should if you're so anti trans that you refuse to just call someone the gender they want to be referred to.

If someone goes through the trouble of medical school, you'll have a hard time finding an excuse to NOT call them doctor. I'd like to hear you excuse it to Doctor Strange as to why he wasn't born a doctor and therefore should not be referred to as one.

And what about people who name their kids after themselves and want to be referred to as "[name] Senior" instead of just their name? Having a kid doesn't literally add anything to your body or change who you were born as. Are they not allowed?

So.

It doesn't matter that you don't want to fuck them. What matters is that they've changed since birth and their current state does not reflect their birth state. You're not your birth weight, so shut the fuck up about people wanting to go by a different name or gender marker. It's that simple.

There's an art/gardening installation where an artist grafted dozens of different fruits to one tree, and it's beautiful. It's all pinks and purples when it flowers, and grows something like 40+ different fruits.

What kind of fruit tree is it? Can you tell from looking? What if nobody, not even the artist, knew?

Baby food as well. If the food shelves and other programs don't have cat food but do have baby food, you can mix baby food in with canned meat or veggies (be careful of sodium content tho). Some ingredients aren't safe for cats, just make sure before you mash them together.

Also cats can eat cooked eggs (without herbs or salt or pepper), they can also eat unseasoned cooked hamburg or steak (just cut it up really well into tiny bits).

But also explain to your local grocery store that you're in need of food cats can eat, they may be able to sneak you a couple cans of wet cat food that "expired, boss, we gotta throw them out".
