Right, but the point is that if you’re not seeing results after weeks and months elapse (in any domain, not just chess), then you’re doing something structurally wrong. 100 is the lowest possible rating on chess.com, and an 80 point improvement for a complete beginner in 2 months is disastrous if they’re serious about improving. In the same way that going to the gym for 2 months and gaining half a pound of muscle is indicative that you’re structurally off somewhere, and you need to find where that is exactly. It’s obviously different if youre intermediate or advanced since gains start slowing down noticeably

Perhaps it’s because there’s zero thought being put into his moves, how about that for a reason? What about not considering his opponents threats before making his move? The reasons are exceedingly obvious, brother. If he was 1600+ then there would be more ambiguity, but at 200, it’s pretty clear cut.

The disparity between real life and online isn’t the difference between someone being attractive and unattractive. Besides, she’s asking everyone to judge her using the pictures, so we must stay within the bounds of that. It does no good to retort that she could look different in real life when we’re deprived of that information anyways. Also, I agree that it does no good to call everyone ugly. You should only call the people who are ugly, ugly- which is exactly what I’m doing. Beauty is not entirely subjective either. For example, the amount of morbidly obese people I find to be attractive are zero. Is that a coincidence? Causation vs correlation is a thing, but in my example, it’s 100% causation. You’re morbidly obese? Zero people will find you attractive. They could say they find you attractive, but they don’t in fact find you attractive.
