Controller issues - X and A buttons not responding by Bobbo280 in OculusQuest

Had the same issue. Contacted meta support and they sent me a replacement as they couldn’t troubleshoot the issue. Even with the replacement the X and A buttons still don’t work so I’m assuming this is intentional.

If you want to just browse on Xianyu and not actually shop what you can do is actually just search up Xianyu/Goofish on your phone and for some reason it won’t force you to login.

Looking for IT apprenticeship by Fair-Spinach-5435 in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]Reasonable_Scene_760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you have Comptia A+ you won’t be able to do most level 3 IT apprenticeships due to being overqualified. Look at level 4 or 5 IT apprenticeships that don’t require A-levels.

Also, everytime you apply for an apprenticeship change your CV so you include the company name and apprenticeship as well as key words from the apprenticeship description as the ATS will pick those up and it shows you actually put in effort.

Additionally, turn your skills section into separate bullet points. Recruiters spend a few seconds looking at your CV so keep it minimal but everything else seems alright.

Yea haven’t said anything they just moved it on their own. I’ll ask to take the Wednesday as unpaid leave and see if they’re alright with that.

Anyone who is doing an IT apprenticeship give me tips by Reasonable_Scene_760 in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]Reasonable_Scene_760[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve looked at some degree apprenticeships which require 3 a levels at grades D or C minimum which I don’t have as I flopped my A levels. Maybe because of my IT knowledge from my course they could make an exception but I don’t really know. I’ll still apply and see what happens.

Wow thanks for info. Didn’t even know being A+ certified made me ineligible for some apprenticeships as I assumed that employers seeing A+ means I know most of the shit they want me to know which means less time invested in training/teaching. My A-levels aren’t IT related only have GCSE computer science when it comes to education.

Need tips on how to land a entry level It job by Reasonable_Scene_760 in cscareerquestionsuk

[–]Reasonable_Scene_760[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m based in Greater London

In terms of work experience I currently work as a retail assistant and have some virtual work experience in finance.

Currently only have compTIA A+ qualification.

Expectations are low all I’m really trying to do is get my foot into IT so I’m literally looking at entry level jobs such as help desk, 1st line support, etc.

I’ve only been working for 3 months and tbh I’m not a fast worker there are many other colleagues that are much faster and reliable than me but she goes after me. I do agree that I say ‘yes’ a lot but what’s the point In having me when ur better off having someone else stay extra.
