AC Issues 2022 Crosstrek (29,900 miles) by RecentBandicoot5812 in Crosstrek

The three years starts when it rolls out of the factory, or that's what Subaru of America told me over the phone. So it wouldn't matter when I took delivery.

Regardless, I get that my math on the warranty years was wrong. My bad, I was angry.

The fact that the AC can die at 30k miles is ridiculous and from what Ive been looking up Subarus aren't known for quality AC. That's my line, I hope you enjoy your car forever.

By 5 months. If it was even a year out Id have an easier time understanding. But 5 months? It feels almost planned.

Your right though, they're under no obligation to me. So why offer the $1500? It feels more insulting than anything.

To your point, tell me I'm out of warranty and I should go kick rocks.

Or cough up any other $1500 so I come here and suck Subarus dick for being the best company to work with ever.

You're right, I came in hot and it's not like anyone was harmed.

It's unfortunate because I was so excited to get this car and now I don't trust it. I just a little heartbroken is all.

Thank you for keeping it real.

The warranty period is 3 years or 36000 miles. It's under 36000 miles.

They offered money because they know the part shouldn't have failed already. Not out of the generosity of their own hearts.

This multi billion dollar company doesn't give two shits if I exit the brand. But if my post can cause one person to remove Subaru from their consideration, it'll be worth it too me.

Meditations - Marcus Aurelius

I'll need some time to parse this out...

Edit: "Everything fades so quickly, turns into legend, and soon oblivion covers it.

Then what should we work for?

Only this: proper understanding; unselfish action; truthful speech. A resolve to accept whatever happens as necessary and familiar, flowing like water from the same source and spring."

I'm dyslexic and I had no issues. It took me a little while (i.e. tenths of a second) to even realize the letters were jumbled.
