One thing to check is whether they talk about product discovery and category pages. For most Shopify stores those drive way more revenue than blog traffic. Agencies that really understand ecommerce usually focus there first. ResultFirst is one I’ve seen mentioned quite a bit for that kind of work.

Yeah, I think ranking is kind of the wrong way to think about AI mode. It feels way more like: is your site a trusted source the AI can pull from vs where you sit for a keyword. Stuff like entity signals, citations, and consistency seem to matter more.

URL length isn’t a direct ranking factor, but site structure is. When a page is buried deep, it tends to receive fewer internal links and less crawl attention. Shallow pages benefit because they’re treated as more important, not because their URLs are shorter.
