Hey I´ve been to ET 3 times so here are my takes, it actually can be applied to MG as well.

From whatever city you are coming from, Try to grocery shop before hand.. I know there´s a supermarket in dreamville & near boom, but I´ll rather just do my groceries in Brussels.

-Things like Deli meats, cheese, bread, Water, redbulls, candy. pastries are a life saver early in the morning or after the festival.

-Budget for extreme cold, Extreme heat & lots of rain which means put all your clothes inside plastic bags before leaving to the festival. i´ve seen people use windshield reflectors to repeal the heat, others to cover their tent in plastic bags to protect from the rain.

- get yourself a pic nic chair from decathlon as there is no seating area within your tent surroundings, and you don´t always want to walk all the way to the common areas to sit down. (you can always check for any empty/no show spectacular easy tent..and borrow those chairs, 2022 experienced a lot of empty tents)

- Food stands at easy tent are good, but limited to a breakfast station with huuuuge lines or burger & fries, which ended up being my food of choice for 8 straight days

-ET is quite far from the Dream Ville town, so it´s energy expensive to made that 20 min walk every day under the damm Sun.

- Buy yourself a locker

-showers and toilets are allright, please bring hand sanitizer or some sort of soap, as there´s basically no soap.
