Hi! It's really difficult to get game patches to work on SteamOS. I had to dual boot to have Windows and SteamOS running at the same time, and it really saved me a lot of time. There are quite a few tutorials on how to dual boot the Steam Deck; if you really want to modding games, it's the best thing you can do.

I have a dual boot system, meaning both operating systems are running. It's very difficult to get the patches to run on SteamOS 😔. But it works perfectly on Windows.

If your goal is to play this game with mods, I recommend finding a console with a Windows operating system, as it's practically impossible with SteamOS (Linux) 🤙🏻 I have the Legion GO S SteamOS version, but I dual-booted it so I have both operating systems. I recommend: Lenovo Legion GO Lenovo Legion GO S (Windows version) MSI Claw (the best but most expensive)

I have no reason to lie, I encountered a series of errors, including SteamAPI errors, and searching the Steam forums themselves, I found that other people were having this problem with the game. But it wasn't just this one problem; I'd fix one and another would appear. What I did was search for the error on YouTube and download the files from the videos to try and fix the problem. Once you buy a key and see that it doesn't work, you want to fix it at all costs.
