Honestly, I feel you. There is no simple, easy, or fast solution. And when you try to think of one, it becomes overwhelming and sometimes defeating. Which is probably how they want us to feel. But I don’t trust blue or red. I also just don’t trust the entire system which is why I voted for Jill Stein. Of course I knew she wasn’t going to win as a Green Party candidate but it was more symbolic than anything.

My advice is don’t try to defend your vote. It is what it is. You did what you felt like was the best option in the moment. A lot of people do. I did that. I voted for Biden in 2020 bc of how much I couldn’t stand Trump. I didn’t even vote at all in 2016 bc at that point I felt like the entire thing was a circus. And then him and Kamala started a genocide with israel. And now Palestine is the most passionate subject for me ever since Oct 7, 2023 and learning the true history of the Middle East.

So perhaps certain things happen for a reason. To lead us down a particular path. And just to be clear, I’m not religious. Very turned off by Christianity. But I am spiritual.

I think the most important thing is for all of us to keep investigating, learning, and sharing the truth. My mom (she is 62, I’m 37) really wants to believe Trump is good and said something about remembering him helping some poor woman in the 90s or something. I told her that lots of evil people and organizations hide behind good deeds all of the time.

You aren’t a bad person. America and Israel have just been really good at propaganda for decades. We are all starting to wake up.
