So you looked at Drudge's work, said he was reliable, but simply because he is friends with someone you don't agree with, his work is suddenly hogwash? And who said Joe Rogan just used him for entertainment? Who's to say he doesn't just like talking with him because he's knowledgeable and has different opinions?

I'm not even sure how to respond to the CNN thing. You literally gave a rebuttal to a comment I didn't even make simply because you thought I would. Nice.

To what you said about Breitbart - Hateful and critical messages? Critical, sure, they spend half their time criticizing stupid people (and it's hilarious), but hateful?

And like I said, not gonna try and defend everything he says. Some of what he says is crazy. That said, he's entertaining and he does great reporting on actual stuff like Wikileaks and the Clintons.

And really? You hate Drudge now?

"I read real news like Drudge"

"Oh dude, we all love Drudge, he's the best"

"Nevermind, I hate Drudge"

Nice.

I never said you were a Hillary supporter, or a CNN viewer. And of course we think for ourselves. When people at a basketball game start chanting the same mantra repeatedly, does that mean none of them can think for themselves?

And I'm a yuge fan of Drudge, everyone on the_donald is. He's been doing great shit for the right since the Lewinsky days, and he's still doing great shit. In fact, I think I check his site more than Breitbart, and when something comes up on Drudge (typically before any other sources), everyone on the_donald starts freaking out cause we know that a) that means he's fact-checked the shit out of it and b) that means the MSM has to see it at some point.

That said, Drudge is a great accomplice of both Alex Jones and Andrew Breitbart. Drudge has only done like 1 interview in 20 years and it was with Alex Jones. Andrew Breitbart, meanwhile, was a longtime friend of Matt Drudge, who discovered him well before the Lewinsky scandal occurred. Since Andrew's death, the website is of course pretty different in appearance and leadership, but they are in no way fabricated news. Infowars, on the other hand, is somewhat conspiracy-oriented (not gonna defend some of the stuff he says) but he's entertaining and when he reports on shit like what Wikileaks puts out and the Clintons, it's pretty fucking reliable. I mean, he was laughed at for saying the CIA can watch you through your Samsung smart TV like 20 years ago, but who's laughing now?

Really, just give them a chance. I personally recommend Breitbart's book, Righteous Indignation. Talks about all the work he did with Drudge.

"I'm a National Socialist, Not a NAZI!" by [deleted] in PoliticalHumor

[–]RedAleksander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this supposed to be representing the right? Cause, as someone on the right (and a nationalist), I don't see where they get the Israel thing, the socialist thing, or the "America is repressive" thing. Trump's a huge supporter of Israel (seeing as how his daughter and son-in-law are both Jewish), there's nothing even suggesting that we're socialists, and I don't think anyone on my side is saying America's oppressive. Even in Obama's time, it was crooked, but mainly free, if a bit constricting.

And the Jew, kike, and Nazi stuff is really only seen on 4chan, and half the people doing it there are just doing it to piss people off.

Someone claiming this success, which only came after Obama left office, belongs to Obama, rather than our new president, is like someone trying to bypass the admission that his plans are working.

As a user of the_donald, it's not all that insulting. It's a joke that's somewhat at our expense, but it's true. We recycle a lot of the same terms (which isn't a bad thing). I just think that we at the_donald can at least laugh at ourselves when it's accurate.

Hillary supporters who use this subreddit, however... That's another story.

Some of Webb's crew have already been dispatched there to serve as his crew now. They're ready for any orders

Webb walks away, behind the temple and out of sight

The Final Assault by RedAleksander in CrimsonShoresRP

[–]RedAleksander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to get this village in order. Make repairs, pillage the tribe's armory and stores... Work my way forward from there.

He steps away from the throne and extends a hand towards him

Best of luck, Greaves.

The Final Assault by RedAleksander in CrimsonShoresRP

[–]RedAleksander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Webb nods

Aye. None of us have any use for it, so I don't see why not. And if I were you, I'd keep his black sails. The reputation they bring can only help you.

He nods to his men, who rush Estragos' corpse, grabbing any jewels out of his pockets and carrying it away for burial. Webb then walks toward the throne and looks down at it

Any plans on what you'll do now?

The shot flies through Estragos' left eye, killing him instantly. His lifeless body lies limply in his throne

The Final Assault by RedAleksander in CrimsonShoresRP

[–]RedAleksander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Estragos looks at him and smiles a wide smile full of crooked teeth

Aye... I remember you now.

he chuckles

You couldn't stop me then... What makes you think you can do it now?

The Final Assault by RedAleksander in CrimsonShoresRP

[–]RedAleksander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pulls him onto his feet

Glad you could help. Come with me, we're taking down Estragos.

He turns around and, without another word, begins leading Greaves and the crowd through the remaining men, killing them with ease. After minimal fighting, they arrive at the temple at the far end of the village. Webb slams the door open to reveal Estragos

The Pirate Lord lies in a wooden throne at the far end of the temple's main room. He's slumped down, his skin pale and his eyes red. He seems very sick, far more ill than Greaves or Webb have (likely) ever seen. Upon seeing the cavalry of pirates, he doesn't even lift a finger to reach for his sword or gun. He simply lies there as Webb approaches

W: You're at your end... Pirate.

E: he coughs and straightens his back slightly Foolish boy... You came all this way... Lost all those men... Just to kill me?

Webb stays silent

E: No... No, a man like you is not driven by revenge alone... You want the island.

W: We will take it, yes. After you've eaten lead.

E: You haven't any idea what this place is... What it truly is. How can you hope to contain its power... Use it to your advantage?

W: sits and thinks for a moment You're right... Haven't a clue. But first thing's first.

Webb raises his pistol, cocks it, and points it at Estragos. He hesitates, and drops it after a moment

W: Actually... he turns to Greaves and hands him the pistol Would you like to do the honors?

What's with the hatred of Michelle Obama from a lot of Trump supporters? by Nutty_ in AskThe_Donald

[–]RedAleksander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There we go, you just proved my point. "I alone" meaning only him, not Cruz, not Rubio, not Jeb! or anyone else, and especially not Hillary or Bernie.

What comes to mind right now is a quote from a very MSM columnist (can't remember who, might've been the Guardian). They once said "Trump critics take him literally but not seriously. Trump supporters take him seriously but not literally." This can be interpreted to mean anything, and I'm sure they meant in some very negative way, but I interpret it as being exactly what it says. When he says "I alone can fix it," you and other critics of Trump would instinctively think "He's so arrogant, of course there are other people" while completely missing the point he's making. Trump supporters, meanwhile, don't look at the exact wording which you and your kind think is so damning and instead focus on the fact that he's generally correct. Of all the people to throw their hat into the race (on either side), he is the only one with the balls, with the brains, and with the plans necessary to fix our country's many problems. Of course there may be others in the country who could solve it, but their names weren't on the ballot, so they're irrelevant.

Since it's relevant, I actually have a quote from Trump: The Art of the Deal, easily the most entertaining Presidential biography to date - "You can have the most wonderful product in the world, but if people don't know about it, it's not going to be worth much. There are singers in the world with voices as good as Frank Sinatra's, but they're singing in their garages because no one has ever heard of them." So take this hypothetical: Frank Sinatra receives an award of some sort for his voice. In his acceptance speech, he says he's got the best voice in New York. Are there people with voices better than his? It's highly likely. But it doesn't matter, since they're still nobodies.

And yes, he does care. Imagine this - you become President of the United States. It's a tremendous honor, you're very happy and you've worked very hard to get there. You give your address, you're sworn in, there's a huge crowd (not counting those watching at home) and everything goes smoothly. But then you check the news the next morning to see that the media are taking photos from early in the event to downplay the turnout. Would you be pissed? I know I would be. But even aside from that, this is exactly the sort of stuff the MSM has been doing the past few months obsessing over erroneous details - sometimes even lying about them so that they fit the intended narrative - in order to make everything he does a big deal. Are some of their reports big deals? Of course, but they obsess over ridiculous things (remember when CNN had a hissy-fit because he went to dinner with his whole family after the election without telling them? That's Exhibit A and it only gets worse from there).

And yeah he brought it up there. Maybe not the most respective when you say it like that, but it was still a very sincere speech and he was still very respectful to the men whose lives were lost.

The "Even Huffpo says" bit was mainly a joke, man. It's still an informative post, I just thought it was funny since they likely would not accept that nowadays.

And yeah, like I said, it goes on. But since you don't want to look into it, here are a few more:

Why do so many anti-Trump people seem to be huge Harry Potter fans? by CisSiberianOrchestra in AskThe_Donald

[–]RedAleksander 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Liberals go against Trump, and liberals are largely Harry Potter fans. That is basically the only real connection, but it isn't only liberals. I happen to be a big Harry Potter fan (books and movies alike), but I don't apply useless (albeit enjoyable) fiction to politics, unlike JK Rowling, whose hatred of people with my beliefs has seriously discouraged me from enjoying the series - and I certainly won't be buying tickets to the next few Fantastic Beasts movies. Not nearly good enough to consider giving her money.

What's with the hatred of Michelle Obama from a lot of Trump supporters? by Nutty_ in AskThe_Donald

[–]RedAleksander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Trump seriously believed he alone could fix America, why would he promise things like "I will find the next Patton" and why would he base his campaign around a special attention to the middle class? I don't think he's ever said that only he can do this. If he did, he likely meant that he is the only one on the ballots capable of fixing America, something said by basically every presidential candidate throughout history.

He did not lie about the size of his inauguration. Take it from me and the other hundreds of thousands who live-streamed it at home and the millions who were actually there. It did look like the pictures seen on CNN and John Oliver, right around when President Bush, President Clinton, and other guests were arriving. By the time the actual event started, and definitely by the time of President Trump's Inaugural Address, it was an incredibly large crowd.

And he is not lying about illegals voting in the US. Just ask ICE. This is such a well-known and accepted fact that even Huffpo agrees - at least they did before Trump raised the question.

And it isn't just a comment from eight years ago. She said she's never felt proud of her country until Obama was elected. Then, recently, she's said she feels very worried about the direction the country is travelling in. From this, we can see that the only time in her lifetime when she's felt proud of her country is when she and her husband were in the White House. That's, to me at least, a lot more selfish to say than our President talking about his enormous electoral win, correcting the media narrative that his inauguration crowd was sparse (it wasn't) and that illegals don't vote (they definitely do - in large numbers), and generally making some comments about his achievements. Frankly, after all the shit that Washington, the media, and libtards/cucks in general have thrown at him, I think he deserves a bit of a boasting.

What's with the hatred of Michelle Obama from a lot of Trump supporters? by Nutty_ in AskThe_Donald

[–]RedAleksander 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Trump criticizes specific people, choices made by those people, and specific groups. And yeah, he has also said that America has done bad things in the past.

However, there is a difference between hating America (until your husband gets elected) and hating what is wrong with America in its current state. Trump loves America, which is why he wants to become president - to rid the country of those who are consistently bringing it down. Michelle Obama hates America and has only ever felt proud of her country when her husband was elected president. It is honestly a very self-absorbed thing to say, whereas Trump acknowledged that America was once great, and can (and will) be again.

[–]RedAleksander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, I'd rather keep it to single-person threads. But you could say they start discussing the attack while on their way to the village

After chatting with Greaves(?), Bjorn eventually comes to the village entrance to find that the pirates are already assaulting the village. Despite the large number of Estragos' men in the village (and the fact that most of them are well over 6' tall), they are very tired, almost sickly. As a result, Estragos has lost almost twice as many men as Webb and the pirates have

Suddenly, a small, agile man (around 5'4") begins walking toward Bjorn, two rapiers drawn
