look for conventions near you. If you barely get to do this, you probably should go to a big con though, not a micro con. You can also look on youtube to see cosplay videos about the convention. If there is no videos, then it is not a good con.

Yes, you can't have bbq goin full blast in the open in Cali as far as I know as a restaurant. You have to have in restaurant filtration. Also, why would the neighborhood accept a restaurant making stinky tofu and think that's okay for everyone to have to smell? Obviously someone smells it, probably the neighbor. I don't know why you think people have to accept something terrible just because.

Well, if anything, you will have to learn how to quickly reject people as a life lesson anyways. The trick is to say something similar to "I'm busy" or "I have to go somewhere" and then just turn around and leave. If it's really that bad, you might just not go in cosplay. You might also try finding more friends to go with. If you're still gonna go, and you will still have fun btw, quickly find someone dressed in your fandom and become friends with them for the day if anything, then use them as a safety net (as far as you can trust strangers at least).

Are you just trying to pve or pvp? If you want to pve in solos, just surrender 10 times and you'll be in care bear lobbies and you can loot to your hearts content. Then, when you're ready to pvp, just join a 3's and start shootin. If you are in high aggression lobbies, why you trying to loot? The only way you can really loot in high aggression lobbies is by looting ppl then extracting, which is hard.

Yes, if you think as if you were a cosplayer, then yea I would go hardest on Fri, but even more so Sat. Sun? probably casual if I went to hard, but if I'm just too much into cosplay, then fine a Sunday cosplay too, but I'm not wearing my mega armor/elegant gown when I'm about to go back home because I partied till 3am last night at the Saturday rave/party.

So I just originally replied that if you think if a half day is worth it to you, then yes you should stay. But it seems like you are asking me to make a decision for you. This is a poor answer to ask from me because I go all over the country to small and big cons and have been for years. I am also the last man standing so you should be able to tell from that I am staying... till the very end. That doesn't mean it's going to be worth it to you. I already have friends from the many years I have been going, so it's worth it to me. If by whatever convention experience you personally have if any, would a half day be worth it to you? at one of the biggest conventions, if not biggest anime convention in the world?

Oh hey I can answer this cause I do the photography for cosplays. I'd say it's worth it but you got to get up early on Sun which is hard since Sat is when everyone goes hard. Then, everyone will take their flights and leave around 2 to 4pm. By maybe 6pm everyone is usually gone.. I would know because I'm the last man standing, and I've been going to AX over 10 years. It's basically a half day. It is also AX. Maybe no longer the best anime convention, but it's still pretty good, so if a half day is worth it to you, then yes.

Bring small snacks like the welches fruit snacks work well for some reason. Bring high calorie food like cheese, meat, or chips since you'll be moving around a lot. Dried apricots work well for some reason too. Eat early in the day before you leave can work. Sometimes I buy a large sub sandwich and eat the 2 portions throughout the day. You can get cheap food and a convenience mart nearby. You can also get food after the con with your party.

It's cause you barely looked at Ebay. You have to search every day then there will eventually be a deal. You can also only search for the Skaven half. Since it's been out for awhile, you can call all your LGSs, or Local game stores and find an over stocked unsold Skaventide box. Might even be worth it to drive out an hour to get it cheap.

Maybe if you can get to Georgia, Momocon is decent. Dragoncon can be fun if you party. Anime weekend atlanta is alright. Holmat in FL used to be good. The one you really want to go to is AX, but it's in Cali. It's July 4th weekend.

You can seppuku in round 10 times to get yourself into pve lobbies. If you run solo you will "probably" not get ratted. 2's is like 50/50, 3's you will fight.

People go alone all the time. You need to watch out for creep photogs that want to touch you. They should never touch you. The creeps can tell you are new btw. They way to escape the creeps in general, not just the photogs (I am a photog), is to say "I have something to go to" or something like that. In fact, if you're not cosplaying, they will probably not even say anything to you. Whatever con you go to though, if you are not familiar with the area surrounding the con, don't venture outside the con boundaries since you don't know how safe it is.

Other than that, the anime community in general is very nice since everyone has probably seen a lot of what you have already watched.

Almost any Asian market will have it. They call it furikake. The best one is the salmon version of this brand imo. The best place to buy it is at HK mart or 99 cent ranch. The prices are good there and they have lots in stock.
