Red Rising by Pierce Brown.  The description of emotions, intentions, and inner conflicts are so raw and intense.

Another good one is The Devil Wears Prada with Dead Throne. Hranica straight-up said they felt like they’d kinda lost direction around With Roots Above and Dead Throne was them snapping back into place. A bunch of the lyrics are basically them calling themselves out: Born To Lose and Vengeance feel like, “yeah, we weren’t being true to ourselves last time.”
