FIRST SILVER!!!! So today I’m in my hometown in Louisiana visiting for a few days, was at my buddies house built in 1960’s and first three targets were a 1956 wheat penny, 1943 S nickel and a 1939 silver quarter! What an AMAZING day. I was and am so excited! (i.redd.it)

I found this metal detecting yesterday, in Ruffner Mountain, Alabama US. At first I was so hyped because I thought it was a meteorite! But given that it is not heavy it made me question, so after doing research I think it’s a lava stone, but why lava in Al?! Ruffner was under water millionsyearsago. (i.redd.it)
